I mean 🤔 it wasn't bad for an axed manga. It didn't leave me feeling empty but the ending was something I didn't expect. I hope one day the author can continue this with an alternate route. The art was clean and neat so there was no confusion. There's a little bit of reverse role in the not so obvious romantic relationship but there's a friendship too which makes it not obvious at first but is condensed into small cute moments but the story is mostly the focus, so don't expect too much.
It's tagged tragedy but it didn't go on long enough for me to feel sad. All I can Say is that I want more of this.

This story had great potential and execution. The characters, setting, action, and art are all splendid. The basis of the plot is likewise very good. Unfortunately, in the third volume, everything suddenly went at break-neck speed, even when it was quite obvious that it wasn't supposed to. Abaraya-sensei clearly had way more material and such but was forced to compress the story, such that developments which were supposed to take at least another volume, happened in mere chapters. While I had had a feeling that the story would ultimately have the ending it did, I'm quite certain that there was supposed to be considerably more development in the middle. As a result, while the aims of the story were successful, the necessary pathos was scant. Abaraya-sensei has made two doujinshi side stories, presumably of some of that missing material, but they are not part of the volume publications.
