Can't even believe I've read it until chapter 69. The guy isn't a mad dog only, he's a manipulative liar. And FL is not that different, although I kind of pity her. Still, unlikeable leads, unlikeable story, a mess where only the pretty art carries everything
Both main characters wanted revenge, but, different from Will, Rein at least has a little bit of a heart. Very little, yes, but she feels bad sometimes, even though she's mostly a jerk because of her wishes. Will, on the other hand, deliberatedly lies and can't deal with rejection, all the men around FL, to him, are competitors, and it grows tiring. All the crying made me mad, because he started the "uwu I'm so sowwy" act and Rein folded. No accountability at all happens, since she always goes back to him
And don't think I like FL, I don't! She's dumb as a rock while disguising herself as an intelligent lady, and the story doesn't even make her revenge satisfying. Let's be honest, I expected more. What's the point of spending so many chapters to build up a revenge plan if everything is going to be solved that quickly? And, to make things even worse, she didn't even do the deed herself. What a waste.
I wanted her to kill the prince with her own hands, but we got robbed. The princess killing him was such a turn off. The whole princess thing was a massive turn off
I'm happy Dietrich is alive but fuck Will for lying about not knowing he was going to be attacked. No amount of "I'm sorry" made me satisfied. I know someone might read this review and be like "he's an yandere-coded character, what did you expect?" and honestly? Expected better lmao stop revealing that the character is complete garbage after I spent so much in chapters. Tell me those things, I don't know, in chapter 10. Dietrich was such an amazing guy, deserved so much better.
Also, can we talk about those comics that portray malnourished people as kids? I'm sorry, I can't take this seriously anymore. It's so bad, and it happens a lot. When there's a magic thing going on, I let it slide, but here there's basic science going on. Those authors need to research before writing, it's getting comical
He looked 8 years old when he first meets FL on their second life, not 16. Just accept that you want to write a big age gap, author. In three months he went through puberty and started looking 15 at least. In three years he looked like a newcomer gym bro lol stop
I give it some points because of the art and some cute moments on the first chapters. Second season was completely unnecessary, actually, you could cut many scenes from the first one and the story would not suffer much. A complete waste of time
