The FL is an idiot, spoiled, mentally 10 years old girl. And the ML is her owner, with responsibility given by the author, to clean all the mess the FL causes every other chapter.
It's not the "antagonists" that cause trouble, it's her to go to them to get bullied. I honestly don't know why the ML cares to help her out.

This story is entertaining, but extremely frustrating. I can’t say if it’s the translation or the cultural context, but I’m gonna say the latter. Because most, if not all, of their politicians are male, given the institutionalized sexism in China, it is unlikely that there would be a “strong” female to lead when the word “Wife” is attached to the story.

What was once the quirks in the personality in our female lead, became the dull clichés reflected in the cultural stigma that women inherently lack ability to succeed without a big strong man. Her hot-blooded personality makes her untrustworthy as a wife.

I for one cannot read a lick of any Chinese characters and respect the work of translators; especially when they work hard to convert to even the grammar changes. So this is not to bash their hard work, or even this quirky romance manhua. More just how fascinating and frustrating stories are from culture to culture. Maybe I’m taking this all too seriously since it’s a comedy, but it’s the same song and dance with this style of RomCom.
