I loathe cheating, and yet like an idiot, I clicked on this one. Part of me thought it might confront how vile affairs ultimately are, but from what I've seen so far, the father has no shame (he almost seems to get off on it) while the lover has guilt but refuses to walk away.
The son definitely goes about things in an interesting way. With how little his father tries to hide his affairs, I have to wonder if he has just reached his limit or if there is another less pleasant reason for him stepping in now. Has he done it before?
Also - why is the lover surprised the son doesn't work for his father? If your father can cheat on his wife (your mother), then why would you want to be associated with his company? Usually, if you are willing to do unethical things in one section of your life, you'll do it elsewhere.
Only way I can see this positively unraveling would be if it is revealed the mother isn't ignoring but instead doesn't care about the affairs. If she married him well aware and they agreed to the lifestyle (i.e. she gets security and status of marriage, he gets security and status of marriage while both being allowed to pursue love elsewhere), the maybe something is redeemable here.
Otherwise, I kind of hope the son just says 'f*ck this' and gets away from all of them. But I guess as 'the perfect son' he wouldn't be able to do that as he seems to want to protect his mother and - for some reason - maybe also his father? Something bigger is going on here, and I think it'll make or break the story when we find out what.
