Healthier than expected

Both of the male lead has a really huge flaw that many people can't accept, one is violance and ever blackmail someone to date him and another one is stalker and masochist (Masochist not flaw though). I think this relationship will turn out toxic but it actually turn out healthy because it's the two of them and this is really interesting dynamics for me.
their flaw really match for each other for this relationship to work. Tsubasa help Masaki to be more human and Masaki help Tsubasa to go against his father.

Masaki close his heart and he needs someone to forcefully open it, that's why Tsubasa stalkerish behavior really help him to open up (sounds weird but it's what happen), if not maybe he will never open up. His masochistic side also help Masaki to not use violence to make Tsubasa listen to him and it really help him to change. They also compromise really well. After knowing Masaki isn't enjoy to hit someone, Tsubasa said that he will accept him for who he is. One the other side, Masaki ever ask Tsubasa what he want during sex and Tsubasa said to strangle him then Masaki did it.

This is really romantic in my opinion, it's just their relationship is unique. Don't expect a lot of smut and disappointed later on because it's just the right amount of smut. Like you know you read Saezuru not because of smut but because of story, it's the same.

All Chiaki haters unite! Jk, but the characters here were simply so much more compelling and fleshed out. Never mind that in the prequel Masaki was less than favorable. We get an actual back story and motivations, not justifying per say, but explaining the two leads' behaviors.
I'm coming to terms with my bias towards more "darker" and off the norm stories, but even so, this violent guy x masochist couple was quite fun and not cliche.
Even though it'd be Tsubasa's best interests, he actually helps Masaki. The two are really cute and fit each other well, the extra chapter was particularly adorable!

Can't deny, I surprised bc I enjoy it a loooot
This is faaaar better than prequel with better written character, idk I just hate Chiaki, here and in prequel too lol
Anyway I'm not the type who like masochist characters but I completely understand Tsubasa.

There are definitely some things I don't like. From the description I expected something slightly smuttier. It did have some smut, but that was less of a focus than I expected. But it didn't lean all the way into romance, either. I didn't quite get into their relationship, like...why? I mean the explanation is there, I just didn't feel it. It was weak.

But, the art is good, and the story is somewhat original. It's readable.

Also, I really don't like the stalker-to-lover thing. Especially in this case, when Tsubasa just forces his way into Masaki's home and refuses to leave—not cool. Then love? Don't buy it.
