The characters are loveable. ymz has a way with developing likeable and relatable characters, and I enjoy reading how their relationship transitions smoothly— it's remarkably nice for me, and I love how comfortable this manga makes me feel! Their banters are funny too, so that's definitely a plus.

Sort of lacking

I really wanted to like this story, but it was just sort of weak. The most emotionally impactful moments where when the protagonist was reminiscing about his elderly neighbors. The development of the romance and the other relationships in the story was just not there. Nothing was really unlikable, but the romance could have been left out completely and it

Awkward love between adults!

I really love this manga. It's so atmospheric and peaceful, but you see the awkwardness that can happen between adults and make them feel like children. I like the role that age and "adultness" played in the relationship between these characters, especially with professions as different and busy as being a hospital physician and a professional photographer. They were so caught up in the demands of their lives that they forgot the little things that make life worthwhile, and rediscover them in each other. Happiness is fleeting, but also very common, so grab every bit.

A seemingly insignificant story of how two ordinary people came to meet, support and grow to love each other as naturally as the passage of time. Life is not always about the extravaganzas; sometimes it's in the little details where you'll find the meaning to it and the answers you're looking for. This story is that of the latter, and you'll be charmed by its atmospheric, simple, and calming delivery. Lovely cast and artwork alike.

Soft, Slow, Sweet

Just like it's namesake, this manga is subtle yet vibrant. It's the gentle story of burgeoning friendship between a free spirited photographer and a doctor who doesn't quite understand how to be free. Their story progresses slowly, but the combination of sketchy, ethereal artwork, thoughtful dialogue, and kind characters makes the manga an enjoyable, not at all tedious read. ymz carefully picks and polishes snippets from two relatively mundane lives to reveal touching, slighly flawed but nevertheless beautiful characters that truly glow, especially when they're together.

This puts me in such a tranquil mood when reading it. The couple is awkward and lovely. Not your typical story and I like it. There is no high school drama, bullied ukes or rapey semes. Just two people discovering love and learning to accept another person and themselves. Looking forward to the rest.

Who in the world is giving this a low score? It must be someone trolling or else something weird happens later, because this is so sweet so far. Higa is a bit abrupt, but not abusive or anything like a lot of characters. I didn't find it to be overly slow or boring at all. I enjoy watching their chemistry develop. It has a nice, easy, realistic flow to it and doesn't feel forced.
