Description
After being reincarnated as the villainess of a novel, Yurina is determined to escape her fate of being killed by the story’s second male lead. Her solution? Save his life and get him on her side before he falls in love with the female lead! Her recollection of the story is spotty, but after months of searching, Yurina finally finds him-- or so she thinks. He’s a bit different from what she expected, but that’s probably because of her poor memory... Her plan should still work, right?

Standard "Villainess gets a second shot at life knowing who will kill her (ML), aims the second time around to avoid death event" story.
The first several chapters I enjoyed, spending time with Yurina and Ray when they are young, learning about one another and earning trust with each other. The artwork is nice with clean lines and delicate coloring, I just could not get invested in the characters.
Yurina is no longer a villainess and is a picture-perfect little noble lady in her new life, which is fine but uninteresting. Ray is also cute now, having been saved from a hard life as an orphan. The first 20 chapters just hint at hidden magical mysteries while setting little stepping stones, slowly building up the romance between the two kids.
I wanted to like this, but it doesn't have much going for it early on. If someone leaves comments later about the story getting better I may come back to it.

The story is fluff, character and art were gorgeous and carefully planned. Hopefully this doesnt drag too long bc I like it so far!
