First and Last

Only two stories were memorable. First story was the best. I like unexpressed feelings so I really like that one. In real life, the otp wouldn't be able to get together and the misunderstanding would always be a misunderstanding, but well, that's why there are manga.

Last story is too bitter, especially the last page. "It is already becoming nothing but a memory"? There's something so sad and bitter in it. There are sad endings that are still sweet or hopeful, but this is just plain depressing. And we never found out what happened to the coma girl.

Here's an example of the story (friend falls in love with best friend's boyfriend with similar ending) done right: Aisou Hito Third story.

Out of 5 stories how can I only like one of them?
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
1st story dealt with unexpressed feelings, and regret. To me it's one of those "Say something!!!" (and that's me yelling at my manga), but it was cuteish.
2nd story Popular male lead with a quiet/shy female lead. This I thought was cute and I like it very much. In fact if this was a solo oneshot (meaning alone, and not with a collection) then I would have given it a 8 or 9 rating.
3rd story An unexpressive male lead, and a insecure female lead. Whine whine whine is all I got from this.
4th and last story- As soon as I saw that my friend is in a coma along with the title, my friend's boyfriend , I thought to myself OH NO. I instantly thought of an anime I saw rumbling hearts and how much I disliked that ending (and the events leading up to it), but going against my gut I kept reading. This time I was rooting for the childhood friends to get together. (also for the best friend to wake up from her coma) , but no this does not happen. Funny in here I wanted the male lead to leave his girlfriend for the childhood friend, but in that anime I wanted the male lead to stay with his girlfriend that was in coma, sadly I didn't get what I wanted from either of these.

The last story alone made me give this a 2. It would have been a one, if it wasn't for the 2nd story.
The last story just leave a bad aftertaste. Raaaaaarrrrrrr I still want to punch a wall from that ending.

wasn't my kind of shoujo romance manga the last one was just i guess about the friends not of what happened since for me it seemed the last story was kind of unfinished unless the point was something else

I liked the third story the best. Didn't read the fourth story (chapters five and six) 'cause I don't like sad stories. First one was okay, although I didn't particularly like the second chapter of it. The second story was okay.

Overall, I would say that this is just your typical shoujo collection if not for the first and last stories. The first story is just so cute, Sure, a lot could still be done with the story but it's really nice. I like how the characters changed and became more mature. Of course, my favorite would be the last one. It's sad, all right. But for me, the ending was just perfect. I wouldn't have it any other way. Of course, I do hope that there'd be a follow up when Miwa wakes up and Tomono finds her own happiness with someone who will love her.

I know that in reality its not always a happy ending in relationships so I liked how the the stories were made. It wasn't easy in terms of the realistic obstacles that happened. Amazing, just wished that the main character in the last story had a happier ending, she really tried.

Well,for the last story:
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It sure took lots of courage to confess but it takes more than that to accept the rejection. Either side knows how to ''let go'' before it hurts them even more in a mature way, consider the fact both are teenagers who have zero experience in love....

Overall, the whole volume is a standard shoujo manga with really nice art, decent stories. It's like a chocolate box mixed of different flavors, choose one for yourself ^^
