Ken, a ronin student, is not making the progress he had hoped for, and he loses motivation to attend cram school. One day, on his way home, he helps an old woman who is attacked by a purse snatcher. She has hurt her leg, so he takes her to her coffee shop. When he arrives at the shop, the old woman's grandson, Ryoya, a handsome prince-like man, serves him a cake. The cake Ryoya makes is delicious, like a sweet from a dreamland , and it is Ken's first experience of such a thing.
