The first two stories were pretty much normal and nothing much to talk about. Third story caught me by surprise.
This was an ok read. The last two stories had something that kept it from being too norm patterned shoujo.

I have read previous one-shots that have had the theme of the female falling in love with her friend's boyfriend. Usually by the end of the story the boyfriend leaves the girl he is dating and professes his love to the female lead. I always found that annoying. This story didn't do that (thank God). Instead the male is wholeheartedly committed to his girlfriend. Although he encourages the female lead by telling her she will find someone she will love and who will love her back, he draws the line clearly and definitely that he truely cares for his girlfriend when she came onto him. I loved that.
I also enjoyed the last story. The female lead wasn't weak and stood up for herself be it verbally or physically and did her thing. This was an ok read. The last two stories had something that kept it from being too norm patterned shoujo.

It has a bittersweet tone and realistic too. Heroine fell in love with best friend's boyfriend. In any other shoujo, the guy would have broken up with his girlfriend to be with heroine, but not in this one. He truly loves his current girlfriend and instead tells heroine that she'll find a person who loves her back one day too. I find this refreshing, sad but hopeful.
The first few stories were so-so, but the last one (Love X Day) was GREAT! The girl was like 159583 times smarter than most shoujo leads and wasn't afraid to defend herself both verbally and physically...very nice change from all of the previous bimbos
