The superhero world isn’t what it seems for one aspiring hero.

Lee Byeonsu, dreams of becoming a superhero and moves from his small island home to Seoul. On the day he arrives, he comes across his superhero role model, Invincible Man battling a villain and even intervenes. The fight is broadcasted live as Byeonsu vanquishes the villain with his superhero like powers but instead of feeling elated Byeonsu is left confused.

He is then contacted by Kang Cheol, legendary hero and the President of the Superhero Alliance Group. Cheol offers to make Byeonsu a hero – Invincible Man’s sidekick to be exact. Byeonsu accepts but soon realizes that everything is smoke and mirrors. The Superhero Alliance Group has been staging violent combats in and around Seoul as a strategy to prevent real violence and keep Seoul peaceful.

Byeonsu begins his sidekick training and in the process meets aspiring heroes and villains. He finally makes his debut as the ‘Peace ONE.’

Things go well for Byeonsu until the accident. During a staged fight, Byeonsu saves the villain and there is an uproar over the rescue. The Superhero Alliance Group makes the decision to turn Byeonsu into a villain and he quietly disappears from the public.
