Generic otome parody

I used to like otome, but not anymore. But I'm still familiar with basic tropes.
MC is bland, but does his job as a protagonist just fine. His "harem" lacked charm or interesting personalities, but their banter with each other was fun.

The plot is supposed to be romantic, but it wasn't. For the supposed otome game setting, it was just a background element. You get a few homoerotic scenes, but no resolution. The chemistry is barely there. And the ending felt like nothing burger to me.

The sequel is supposedly more gay, but I'll keep my expectations low.

No because this is actually so funny, I'm honestly surprised I haven't come across this theme before.

If you like Otome then you'll enjoy this for sure. If you like boys love AND Otome, well, read this immediately.

I think the author didn't finish the series because I didn't see all the time game characters and romance.The aurhor is working to continue the series.We should support the author to continue the series.

I've looked until the latest chapter and the comedy stayed strong! Though I think this might need a sho-ai or bromance tag, merely hints since it is an otome game that happened to be executed by guys only, the story and the progress of the game is very entertaining with adequate drama, comedy, (systematically forced) romance, and fanservice (BL obviously).
