The writing, the mood, the art. Everything is perfect. Rare to find their dynamic between the FL and ML and it is the dynamic I personally love. Smart, abused when he was child and revenge and power hungry ML, FL that gets caught up in his life. 10 put 10
The ML is a strong contender for the "most toxic ML ever" award. He does absolutely NOTHING in a good way when it comes to this "romance", and according to novel spoilers on other sites, its gonna get WAY worse. Like

Just in the first few chapters, he emotionally blackmails the female lead. He's very cruel towards her and I could truly sympathize with her nauseousness towards him. Like, dude, if you liked her so much, you should have told her that from the start and that she shouldn't try to get closer to you because his family might kill her. But instead, he just ignores her and is really toxic.
I don't think any amount of his "love" is good for her. I really hope she gets with the other guy or finds someone actually good. All the mystery and intrigue behind their engagement doesn't excuse him.
