Is that something you should say to a 10-year-old son, mother-in-law?
My young husband had a stutter. A face covered in snake scales. Hands marked with burn scars. I diligently cared for such a husband by his side.
"Keep eating. You need to eat a lot to grow taller than me."
"D-Do I have to be t-taller than you, Lady Cheria? I-I like that you're t-taller than me..."
But was I too diligent? Where did my soft and squishy husband who used to dip healing items with me go, and why has he turned into a slightly crazy person?
"Did they die? That makes the job easier."
"Pardon?"
"I mean, I think people who talk about life as if it's worthless are trash."
