Like the really long review down there (and the other negative reviews on this page), I hated this manga too--and for legitimate reasons.
See @moonmystery's for reasons why this manga is overrated. I completely agree with him.

HONESTLY, THIS WAS JUST BUNCH OF TEENAGE FANTASIES meshed with so-called "investigations"

As I look at some people's reviews, I can empathize with the negative ones. I also caught all the aspects that have bothered all these people, but since when I read manga I do not read it in such a deep way, I didn't feel bothered at all.
I read manga in a very lighthearted manner.
Some people would probably really be bothered at how sudden the romance came about, with almost no real development or the easy cases, or simply the fact that it was just chock-full of kya scenes that was obviously put there as fanservice.
That is to say, if you're the type to be bothered, then you'd be bothered. But if you're like me and you don't really care, then I guess one can come to like it.

Personally, I LOVE it though. XD

Capable Characters

I love the relationship between the two main characters. He's really handsome and good at his job and she's really beautiful and good with her powers. They are both capable of handling themselves, but sometimes Fuyuki gets saved by Kuze which isn't entirely bad. When she is saved, that just makes me like him even more!

I've been reading this for a while now. The chapters are nice and long so I just read a couple at a time. It's funny but has no real direction right now. The main characters Kuze and Fuyuki are both likable and beautiful 😀
Although they can be a little TOO flat and perfect. It has that peanut gallery effect where extras just react to how beautiful the main characters are, and that just gets annoying after a while. We've established that they are beautiful already, it really doesn't have to be mentioned every few pages.

Also for some reason I really want this mangaka to make a shounen-ai series. The art just has the feel of love between bishies to it. There's no hint of that here, but I look at the art and just get that feeling 😀

A bit of an Update: Several chapters later the main plot is still slowly approaching and the characters are as beautiful as ever. Fuyuki's power keeps growing to her convenience and Kuze is still Kuze. Get where I'm going with this? Yup I'm bored out of my skull lol. There's only so many times I can read about how beautiful and perfect the characters are before they stop being relatable. I think if I hadn't read much more progressive shoujo manga, and the ultimate example of a slow romance manga that keeps on giving(to me at least) Skip Beat, this would be my favorite shoujo manga. As it is, yes it's really shallow. Great for beginners though!

I don't even know how to describe this. I checked it out because the ratings on mangaupdates are usually spot on.

It lacks an actual motive, there's no depth to anything the characters do, it depends on bad shoujo cliches to advance.

The male lead, Kuze, is there for the hormones of fangirls. So one-dimensional, it makes me cringe. It wouldn't make a difference if they replaced him with a pretty-faced blowup doll.

The female lead, Fuyuki, has potential, but the mangaka is too busy putting her in scenes with Kuze babying/borderline sexually harassing her, to do anything about it.

And the art. It's so drab. The style may be for some, but there's a limit to same-face syndrome, even in shoujo.

I knew the mangaka was a BL artist within the first few pages. The wide shoulders, horse-noses... generally terrible anatomy that can not be excused with 'stylization'... (you have to know the rules, to break 'em.)

If you want a manga where the characters get in romantic, rose-filled, bubbly fluff every chapter, read it. If you're looking for actual substance, look somewhere else.

I really love this ome goshhh.....anyway exactly i got a lot to comment but since im really tired n sleepy coz i read this manga until morning,lucky tomorrow is sunday so i can sleep as long as i want so i will stop just til here...c u..enjoy reading this manga is really damn good so try read it now..k bye2

I don't like this, what a shame

I like beautiful, smart, and emotionally strong female leads. This female lead has some sort of dark past, which is my fetish. I like protective, capable, act-like-he-doesn't-care-but-he-does male leads. I like partner-like relationship. I like skinships. This manga should've been one of my favorite shoujo manga. But it never did.

I feel like this manga is all flashy without substance. Somehow there's just no real depth. It feels like the mangaka has her own version of perfect heroine and perfect hero in an ideal relationship, but she lacks skill to actually make something great of it. And there're just too many fan-service scenes (you know, the ones that supposed to make you go 'kyaa' or 'awww') that it kinda annoys me. They're just all over the place and too 'in-your-face'.

I have the same sentiment with p3pelepe about the investigation/detective/mystery part of it. I don't understand the importance of the special unit or why our female lead has to be in there. The cases are easy and shallow, but I guess it can'be helped cause it's shoujo. Maybe because of the art-style, I expect something more mature and complex. But at least the author can make it interesting. Some filler-arc with 'mystery spices' in some non-mystery shoujo mangas had been done better.

I hate the art. This is pure my opinion so it will sound annoying, but sometimes the female lead looked like she had a polio. Her legs are too skinny and small compared to her big head. I started reading this manga hearing that it had beautiful arts. I guess it's a matter of preference after all.

I give five because the outline of this manga hits my ideals. What a shame it was only the outline. It's not anywhere you can find lead characters and relationship with such traits.

I'm actually reading other manga to wait for the next ones so anyone want to give me romance with detective manga? That would be helpful. Anyways, I LOVE THIS MANGA and totally have no problem with the characters or the way the story is 🙂 🙂

Oh My Gosh!
Each chapter got me squealing in delight when I see Fuyuki and Kuze together, especially when Kuze is making a move on her.
All characters here are perfectly drawn and I love their personalities very much!
I seriously did not expect any of this, especially with the boring beginning (in my own personal opinion), where they make their investigations and visit the crime scenes. I thought this would just turn out to be a detective manga with some slight romance. Boy, I was wrong!
There is so so much chemistry between the two main characters, and recent chapters have been very intriguing.
I love seeing how Fuyuki is becoming attached to Kuze, and also see how Kuze has to handle her during difficult times.
Hope to read more soon then!

This manga is just sooooo great?! the art and storyline?! if you want something that will flutter your heart and make you alittle jitter this manga is for you?! it has a wonderful male and female lead?! all of them are beautiful you just wish you will see someone as handsome as the male lead?! his family also they are all soooo gorgeous?! it has some sci-fi and fantasy element?! however from the first chapter will given drawn to it!? It is the typical girl-sapy fan work!? reverse harem and also harem at the same time?! i wish just they would scanlate the work faster?!

anyways i am just blabbering? GREAT STORY, ART and BTW it has some mystery and psychological elements as well.
