Itaru was really cute and I loved Kouki's personality. It was funny because at first it seemed like Kouki really didn't want to get involved with Itaru.
The ending was kind of...I don't know...It could have been better, but that's probably because the manga itself should have been longer.
Overall, though, it was a good, fun read.

but basically too short for all the threads that're touched on. i really liked the whole setup, and would enjoy to read more about all the characters at the TV station, and more about itaru -- see him really get over the bad stuff from his past, and come into his own as a writer. and the kouki x itaru relationship needed a lot more time to grow; it felt weirdly rushed from kouki's side. i know there are people who will end up liking somebody just because that person likes them, but it's emotionally alien to me, and i didn't feel the love.

Looovely artwork as expected, storyline is O.K, overall, the manga was good. Alot of her other works are better in my POV, but this manga is still good...not one of my favourites though.

Shounen-Ai Not Yaoi

My view is pretty damn biased, I prefer hard Yaoi (unless the story is amazing) with a great plot. This was so-so. The plot was interesting and not too typical, but I felt the story moved really slowly and well relationship wise, nothing really developed. It was cute for sure though and great for a light read.

It would appear (from reading the closing remarks from the mangaka), Takanaga Hinako objective was to create an effective story with a "cool seme" who wouldn't fall in love so quickly. I really admire that notion, but how the relationship in the story develop, it didn't go anywhere for me. It just felt flat and almost emotionless. The story more-so revolved around a plot that didn't really go anywhere, and was more focused on the subplots (of Itaru finding a job, and working for the local cable company, etc.). There's also a transgender character in here too, who is part of a love triangle in the story. It was good to diversify the genre by having a transgender character, whom I felt stole the story and was a central character! The overall tone was funny and cute; but it didn't have any substance to make it memorable.

i loved this story, i think its okay that kouki loved kurumi first, because at the end you can see that he really has got over kurumi and takes a serious interest in itaru. without the 'omaku' however, it would have been terrible because you wouldn't be able to sense the above two things.

LOVE!!! love itaru smile love kouki smile and kurumi's funny too =D

I love Takanaga Hinako's mangas because they're really reeeeally cute. Liberty Liberty is also very cute and I recommend it as a shounen-ai mangasmile The story was nice and the artwork was great. I don't mind the ending. It's a bit like in Fujimi Orchestrasmile

Didn't seem very Shonen-ai to me. I'm not a fan of the genre much, but this looked cute. I was happy that there wasn't much kissing, but the story was a bit of a disappointing. Would have made for a much better story if the guys had just remained friends. The one sided love seemed really forced and came on very quickly.

I loved the art though.

I hate to be the one that differs from everybody else, but this wasn't really my favorite manga. I love the artwork, and I love Itaru (he's so CUTE!), but what was up with the main couple? I mean, yeah, they were sort of together at the end, but to see Itaru love Kouki so much, and to see Kouki be stuck on Kurumi the entire time... -sigh- It was kind of disappointing, and even though Kurumi was a man, the fact that he was a transvestite made the manga feel like a shoujo. So basically, it was a well-done manga, I just didn't like the story. Totally personal opinion. There are some who love it.
