Manga adaptation of the late Heian novel Torikaebaya Monogatari (とりかへばや物語). The novel was translated in 1983 into the English novel Changelings and in 1994 into the German novel Die vertauschten Geschwister.

In 1998, Kihara adapted Torikaebaya Monogatari from the original Japanese novel into a single manga volume called Torikaebaya Ibun. Her manga was then adapted into a musical for the Takarazuka Kagekidan, a famous all-female musical theater troupe.
