A group of scattered people who were friends in high school start getting killed one by one, and danger soon follows the heroine, Aihara Kumi, as she starts suspecting that one of them could be the murderer.
9 Volumes (Complete)

A great, exciting series. This is how a murder mystery should be done. The first chapter alone garners enough excitement & desire for more; it ends with such a cliff-hanger, though.
You've got this girl whose baseball-team graduates die one by one, until the killer goes for her. The story is intense from the get-go, & builds up from there onwards.
I really liked the fact that the heroine is not some tough, stoic, cold tomboy, but a delicate maiden who has normal, feminine reactions to situations. She gets scared easily, & we really feel for her, & fear for her safety.
The male lead does not play a major role in the beginning, as he seems to have some issues with the past (which seems related to her). However, judging by the cover, we can safely expect him to make more appearances in the future in order to protect the girl (if he weren't the murderer).
Still, this mangaka is really good. Too bad that, despite his many works, he is almost completely ignored by the scanlation community. I intend to read any translated titles by him, Murao Mio, in the future.
