I'm at the latest update 34 atm and demm I have mix feelings about the mc but it's cool since that's how the creators wanted him to be portrayed. The MC's thoughts are chaotic and I think there's even a touch of hypocrisy to it but well, his past lives + childhood is pretty tragic in the first place and right now he's still at the stage of confusion on what to really do.

As someone who got born as a human, learned to live like a human, and experienced human emotions, he has yet to really understand what it means to be human. All he wants atm is to eliminate any threats that comes to the person who looks similar to his mother (who made him feel the warm side of a human, a mother's love, that's why he began to think that being a human is not that bad, that is, before the onion cutting scene took place).

So he promised to protect her, while in fact all I can see is the MC clinging to her for support and tries to echo the words said by his mother to her because that's pretty much his current guidance in life.

In conclusion, go read the manwha so you can see just how messed up this is, and bring tissue by your side.

Don't be fooled by the synopsis if you thought this would be the mc vs world kind of story
although it start of with showing the mc hatred for humans and his motivation it goes a different way as of chp. 15 were introduced to the supposed and antagonist and a scene where mc and it seem to be fighting.

At this point the author had given mc amnesia so the next few chp will be him living human life and coming to love humanity and when the antagonist shows despite both of them having the same purpose he'll stand beside humanity because of his experience

I have only read 9 chapters and I am invested. I like the set up, his hatred comes from a reasonable place and his cold demeanor makes sense. Animals do not have complex emotions like humans do, so it makes sense that he needs to be taught these thing. I sort of would like to see him eradicate the human race, but this doesn't seem like this sort of story.

The art direction is pretty good and the art is clean. The story shows emotions instead of telling you in dialog.
