The story is simple but cute. Art is beautiful. Give it a try if you don't feel like reading overly complicated love story.

Be careful what version you are reading, cause in the beginning mangaka was publishing single chapters in a magazine and suddenly, after releasing chapter 5, she changed her mind and published the whole story at once, as tankoubon, as a result previously published version of chapter 5 was completely rewritten. It's like the magazine version, with more drama, was dropped. Keep that in mind.

Man, I read this going "huh? that's not how things work" over the logistics of the happenings with their life. It was trying very hard to make them look cool (which was cringe-inducing for me) and I suppose, make the drama work. But the thing is, the drama was needless, and what was there looked so obviously contrived and over-dramatized.

Had a good start, but it felt pretty anticlimactic. I'd give this a pass.

Another story about friends turning lovers. The theme is nothing new, but the characters are charming. We witness the point where friendship turns to love.
In my opinion, the time skip was huge, i would have loved to see some scenes from the skipped years, and the exact moment when Uyama saw the ring!! I need more happy Uyama moments!!!!

Every single story that I've read from this mangaka has been amazing! Emotional, poignant, complex, and perfectly paced with just the right amount of drama and angst to give weight to the relationship. They are all so good, and this manga is no exception. In fact, it's going straight into my favorites list.

I love that every character here behaves like real people, real men. They aren't females with dicks. The uke is gay, but doesn't do the cutesy feminine sh*t that I hate. He's just a regular guy who happens to be gay. He struggles with his sexuality, as any normal person would living in a traditional country like Japan. And the way he loves the seme is just... gawd, it breaks my heart!

The seme is straight, and that plays a lot in his struggle to understand his jumbled, budding feelings for his friend. This is not just a case of, "oh, they hooked up, and suddenly the straight one is perfectly fine with being gay. It's no big deal." He actually struggles quite a bit to work through his emotions, and I love him for how desperately he tries to keep them together despite it all.

Anyway, this manga is really really good. I look forward to reading more.

So uh.. yea the "uke" or bottom or whatever yeah he's like everywhere o__o no like i think I've seen him around other manga like the character design is super familiar but whatever. Mostly just reading it for memes i guess
