She was supposed to be offered as a sacrifice, but now is sought after in both body and soul... The Sakata family has been plagues with a terrible curse for generations, now following the daughter carrying the same family name, Sayo. One day, Sayo's father takes on debt as a result of something that wasn't his fault and is sent to work the silver mines while Sayo is offered to the lord of the land. Sayo makes her way to lord Shiokawa's residence to work under him, but only shortly after it becomes apparent that he only wishes to have his way with her. As she fights back against him, he draws his sword only to cut off her hair. Even in the face of danger she makes it clear that she would rather die than be taken by such a vile man... and then suddenly appears a charming man with bright, golden eyes.
