i think it was pretty good at the start,but got boring halfway through.like someone in the comments mentioned FL is kinda boring and the ML is bratty(i agree)but it was okay.FL still didn't irritate me unlike some other FL's similar to this type of manhwa.i thought she had enough common sense so she didn't bother me.but as the story progressed she turned to a total mary sue idk she was just boring,nice all the time,not that its a bad thing but it was irritating sometimes.she has courage,compassionate and is extremely naive but it just didnt make me care for her or crown prince or anyone...thats not good.

her back story seemed rushed and i dont think it was necessary.i get that by giving her a sad backstory readers feels like "she finally got the happy ending she deserved,im so happy for her" etc. this is such a common theme but i feel like this wasnt done well(like many)its just there,so shes "justified"and deserving to have numerous good luck come her way like got the crown prince,having a warm family,rich,beautiful etc.sometimes it doesnt have to be a contest about who had it worst and just be average people,especially since i feel like not much would change in the story(though it seems they are destined lovers or there is after story about this or something ..)again the plot is kind of lacking...there is a lot of side characters(they are all similar personality wise) and they are important for the plot but because there is a lot of going on i feel like fml especially isnt that developed.but sadly because of this i cant really relate to her i guess? and i just really think she was childish..like really...

ML too,he got annoying,even though there are probably people like that irl it doesnt make it better less annoying (even if its was only on manga its fine tbh).it was dumb how he worships the ground she walks on(just how much of a simp he is),i dont like charaters like that.dont understand why people liked this.wasnt done well imo(is there even such a story where its done well?i think jealousy is fine,good but not simping blindly).i mean,again,he's just lustful,it didnt feel genuine love.there was way too much objectifying..i just realised that ML might be the one i hate the most.it gets kinda better later on as he is starting to develop genuine feelings for her,starting to care for her other than her beauty(actually did it?idk) but i still didnt like it,it seemed shallow to me.she kept treating/speaking him like a kid because she thought he was shy(even if she had her reasons it didnt seem logical..its pretty weird to act like that to a grown ass bulky man,i actually like this type of contrast between petite woman and bulky man but not acting like this..) ,and he just obeyed her because she's pretty/he's horny?idk its stupid.i really hated this pair even though i really like their designs.(fl is super cute with her parted hairstyle and eye shape and i really liked his long red spiky hair with yellow eyes combo).

i mean i know many people like this manhwa but it was pretty obvious it was a ,i would say kind of a self insert manhwa for female audience(male lead is crazy in love with fml,his inner dialogue about how this one woman makes him act illogical etc etc. it can be represented good in mangas sometimes but its not easy,i think)like someone said, its not meant to be taken seriously.

BUT i didnt really liked side characters either.dad was annoying,blue haired brother was fine(when he wasnt getting angry because people piss him off.that humor wasnt funny imo,never is.)comedy was unnecessarily loud and annoying(the dad and the maid).god i really hate the maid.even if author explained at some point that 'at house ryu maids are treated like equals bla bla' i dont think it should be,theres a line between being equal and just screaming at your employers for no reason.ik its a manhwa and not real life hence it doesnt have to be realistic but if you add this part about 'every employee was treated equal at house ryu' (because audience sees that the maid acts overly familiar with her employers so author explains why that is the case)giving people the reason for her behavior, then make it realistic!!why the hell does the second brother just trembles in fear when she yells at him and demands shit from him.i hate that that i look like a hater,especially towards female characters but its really disappointing that they keep writing these stereotypical bossy female characters who are only/generally nice towards other women(thankfully theres only gihae with this type of character in this manhwa.bad news is theres only 2 female characters who are important to the story and those are gihae and FL.....)even if the reason she is overprotective of FL is because she woke up from a 12 yr coma,there is other ways to show care to your mistress and you can be nice to other people...its not funny to yell and be pissy all the the fucking time.i really hate gihae.i cant say shes like that ALL the time but MOST of the time she is.so loud.it didnt make it better for me that author adresses her "energetic" or something personality trait (was it rahan? he mentions it)but shes just plain rude and immature sometimes,mostly.AND she was fking 24 or 26 years old??
i dont think i would've minded her too much if she wasn't in, well,probably every fking chapter and didnt take too much screen time.

another thing that disturbed me which is a very common thing in manhwas/mangas that feels wrong to me is

sorry for the rant,i dont know why i got this worked up over this manhwa even though it wasnt anything special but i did for some reason.whatever complaining is funnn~~ i may be exaggerating some parts,even though he's pretty much a manchild and doesnt want to share their mother with his children too much,he isnt too bad as a dad.i skipped too many chapters because it was cringy at times,but many things seemed to stay the same in the final chapter so...

i think art is fine tbh inconsistent but fine

edit:actually i didnt write enough about the father,i find it funny that people say they are such a doting, loving family to her.they just keep her in the dark too much in the earlier chapters(probably in later chapters too)and of course stuff happens.i keep forgetting this was supposed to be comedy so i keep nitpicking this type of stuff because the comedy is nonexistent

The main characters are just not likeable enough to carry the story. It's as simple as this. They are boring, have no chemistry together, the FL is a doormat, and the ML in special is an annoying brat and a psycho and not in a fun way. As for the comedy: what comedy? Having the FL father act some way on the first chapters don't make it a comedy.

Also, the art is bad. Don't read this.

The story started out great and has some unique points in its favor- alive, doting families, a sweet romance, you get to see a lot of the male lead's pov, etc. I really liked the female lead - some people mentioned that she was too oblivious but I think she reacted reasonably with the information she had. She's smart, and there were times she shone, it's just that she didn't realize the situation she was in because she brushed it off as too unrealistic (it's not even that she didn't think of it, because she did!).

The first half of the story was great, but in the second half some things that should have been explained and some events that took place were glossed over. Too much was introduced and fit into the second half, and it felt rushed. I haven't read the novel so I don't know how quickly the plot moved in it, but for the webtoon it felt like they had a set amount of chapters and because it was an adaptation they just crammed everything that happened in the novel into the last 30 chapters.

If you read this, just treat it as a romantic comedy and don't expect too much from the plot.

The main story left me a little unsatisfied, but there are two side stories and I really enjoyed the second one, so my feelings ended on a good note.

I did really like this for the most part. The comedy is good, dynamics and romance are great. Some characters are a bit meh. The main arc stumbles towards the end, it recovers at the end with a great emotional scene. There's a reincarnation plot after the main story that is pretty fun. I think it's my favourite part of the story, it's so hilarious at times when people meet are get deja vu.

I am kind of annoyed by how oblivious the main girl can be at times. It's so cliché and gets irritating fast. She does have redeeming qualities though.

This is such a hilarious and cute love story. I will have to say that the reason I only gave it a 9 is because I had to skim through chapters that were dragging out for way too long. Felt like this story could’ve ended sooner, but overall the characters were all great.

The story eventually picks up, the quirky art is also a bonus.

Recommended to be read in one sitting.

It's not a Manhwa series I would take seriously - it sounds a bit harsh but the premise is not something we haven't seen before...and it takes a real skill to finesse it in a way that would wow the reader. I find the dialogue a bit sloppy and the execution kind of mediocre.

I'm on chapter 24 and I find it hard to believe that this 20 something male doesn't know what love is. I'm not saying it's unbelievable that he hasn't experienced it, but more so how he reacts when his subjects/friends are trying to explain it to him. It's like he has a mindset of a 6 year old, but at the same time, he's also a mature, sinister, skillful, killing machine warrior? I find it very inconsistent, but will continue to see where this goes.

Seems to be a bit of the "beauty taming the beast" trope... though the male main obviously has some deep mental issues we don't know about yet.

Anyways, she meets him without having a clue who he is and it changes everything (because she's not scared of him).
