The first story made me cringe. Nagao reminded me of a manipulative wife-beater who wants to take away his wife's freedom. The plot was also too rushed and the characters too shallow.

Second story was blah, too rushed.

Well... when i read the chapter 1 and 2, i can see the Seme is really have a 'cruel' side but not really 'that cruel'. He just manipulative his lover? He really didn't really much honest in chapter 2, in chapter 1 he quite honest. But when i read chapter 3, i suddenly say "Wow!! The Seme is really Honest!" when the Seme is confess he almost cheater because he felt lonely. That's really the cute side of him! So suitable to the title in chapter 3 "Kawaii Otoko". I like it!
Well... it's not the best, but you can read it if you feel want to~!

i don't find asou annoying, but i do find the bratty, immature seme so; he comes across as if he's 16. at least he doesn't rape asou the first time, but i can't say i find his behaviour right afterwards endearing -- and there is no hint whether he already is in love with asou, so it comes across as even more mean than it would otherwise. i don't dislike him entirely though; he is not a bad kid underneath. but this is a typical scenario of minase's; forceful, immature seme overpowers reluctant uke, and while i originally thought that played nicely with the usual seme/uke dynamic, by now it's old hat, and i want more from that play. and it almost looked like i might get it here; i even held my breath. but the story didn't go there, alas.

i remained detached from these characters; there just isn't enough here for me to care about either. heck, i'm not sure asou is actually in love; he strikes me as more lonely than particularly fond of asou. i would need more information about his character.

Who's supposed to be the cruel one in the main story? It's hard to tell. Both characters are annoying and yet likeable at the same time. There's a selfish, insecure younger seme and a passive uke.You could probably guess what happens just from that. I would like to see more character development so that it's more pleasant to read about them and not be distracted by some of the obnoxious behavior. The second story is about the seme's friend and a bar owner (the friend's boss). It was super short and just okay; some mild angst there. The older guy is drawn very nicely though, for a character with facial hair.

At first I was like 'noo' at what was happening to Asou...lol a younger forceful, spolied brat like guy was going to be his lover. I liked this story it was cute! and loved the artwork from minase sensei.

D'uh! I read Itsumo Yashasii first and was confused about the first few scenes and the last few. Now that I've read Hidoi Otoko and reviewed Itsumo Yashasii again - it makes for a much more comprehensive and better story! I enjoyed these quick little insights into the four characters lives. It wasn't earth shattering or even i-m-going-to-dream-about-this-story sort of experience, but it was well worth the read.

The art is pretty and the story is cute. It's a little too predictable though, I would recommend it for a more "experienced" yaoi reader.

This wasn't anything too amazing, but it was okay. Pretty much typical yaoi.
