Wow, this has some really severe issues in addition to really bad romance.
And it's not just a pacing issue, as I can see that there's a story being told here. The problem is that I don't see what that story is supposed to be. In addition to that, most everything just, falls flat. Trying to get invested in this is like trying to pick up a glass marble with two fingers after dipping your hands in a certain kind of slippery oil, there's just no grip whatsoever.
It just feels like the author has no idea how to tell a story in a good way. There are ideas, but they all come together in very disjointed ways.
The romance itself is just, very suddenly there. Like, what, why. So malplaced. I would say I didn't believe it when I saw it happen, but I have sadly seen worse...
Lastly, I just wanna mention the art. It is different, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. But then again, I don't read these for the art, I read for the stories. And I keep being disappointed, time and time again...

I keep getting too distracted by the art to focus on the story. The art isn't bad...it's just...odd. The style is VERY Western anime inspired. It's the blandest mash up of Netflix exclusive Western cartoons with a huge helping of the Avatar The Last Airbender.
Dropped after 2 chapters because the art style is very unattractive to me. YMMV.

The author probably doesn't even remember what he wrote in the last chapter. It has ideas all over the place and doesn't progress most of them.
