Story is nothing new. But the Pacing and the Art is superb.
If Solo leveling makes everything right for "urban dungeon system novel".
This is the equivavelnt in "culitvator evil system novel".

After reading up to chapter 6 i feel that it might be a really good manga just go with AsuraScans translation not Mangabaz, mangabaz clearly have no one who speaks native english to proofread their translations, just wait for Asura to catch up with the chapters.

Levciathanscans is good as well.

Good translations all around, interesting start

I've enjoyed all this manhua's translations by Mangabaz, Asura, and Maple Leaf Scans/UnderDogs Scan so far. I appreciate their work and efforts.

As for the manhua itself, the MC has transmigrated into a world where he's originally intended as a stepping stone for the world's protagonist. Even though he is stronger than the protagonist, he cannot kill the protagonist due to their high, innate luck (or heavenly fate) stat. Instead, he must slowly find ways to reduce the protagonist's luck/fate while raising his own, until the reversal is high enough that he can take direct action to eliminate the protagonist. This process is where the comedy, drama, and action come in. The art, so far, is fantastic.

As of the time of this comment, we're only 15 chapters in, so we'll have to see where it goes from here!

This Protagonist basically gets everything he wants.

This guy is a evil genius. He has a cheat system after regressing that leads this man to dominate the wuxia world. When it comes to girls, minions, weapons, power, and especially cultivation this man comes out on top. He knows and accepts he is the villain, but makes sure every threat (hero) is six feet under so nobody can stop him. Also, he has made a pretty decent harem for himself. The art for a manhua is God tier, it is a treat for the eyes. The fights are really great, they can take you by surprise at times (really when the MC does something.) I cannot guess what will happen next, I just know he is fun to watch.

Protagonist is the final evil boss character and not secretly good. It’s kind of fun to watch him encounter all of the hero tropes and defeat them one by one.

Also, the MC is a transmigrator. We know this because it is mentioned one time. We never learn who he was, where or when he lived, or anything else about him. He has no apparent personality separate from the guy he becomes. No backstory. No name. No flashbacks to a previous life. No panel showing what he looked like before. There is no adjustment period of any kind. Sometimes he remembers very elaborate plots he put in place before transmigrating. Sometimes he says things like, “gosh I guess this guy I am now did some pretty bad things in the past,” as if he doesn’t remember.

He has one of those game systems, but nobody else does.

Characters appear in the story. Then they disappear from the story.

Fights are solved by who has the higher level and not by strategy, tactic, techniques, luck, etc. The MC has the highest level, so the outcomes are a foregone conclusion every single time.

If you don’t know wuxia tropes really well or don’t know the cultural references, it is impossible to follow beyond “bwa ha ha, I’m evil and always win.” Like, suddenly there are bird people. People are in a realm. Now they are going to another realm. Everyone can fly, mostly. This clan is important. Something, something Taoism.

What if the villain was smarter?

What if the villain was the smartest one, but he has to face many MC with standard trope powers, like chosen ones, reincarnators, regressors, etc.? If you're ever wondered, then this might be for you. The art is gorgeous.

(read till chapter 30s)
a direct comparison would be "History's strongest senior brother" the novel not the manga or smth.
Its a wuxia world where the protagonist (villain) plays as the villain in storylines of multiple heroes who act varying levels of cliche and entitled, transmigrators, reincarnators everything.
HSSB is the most direct and frankly an even better novel, it goes much more in depth and is more realistic in terms of characters in this manga the characters just fall for the protag (villain) cause hes just that cool.

Theres other loads of novels where the protag is the 'villain' in a world of multiple heroes, like 'you cannot afford to offend my women'.

(edit after chapter 44, + reading the novel)
okay so this manga adaptation does not do the novel justice. a side effect from the manga structure itself i presume.
Each manga chapter while long, it adapts 2-3 novel chapters. And it skips over a *lot* of details. The main point of this story, as implied ofc, is how other characters will respond to the mc. It's never about whether the MC himself will succeed or not, cause that was never in doubt. Even in the previous timeline (i.e. timeline where the mc didnt transmigrate), this villain was the last boss, he wins every single encounter even in the last life without the system in place. This guy's the real deal.
And the manga adapts his plans and journey.
And while yes that is a part of the story. the main part really is how other characters react to being trapped in his web of plans. They get a lot more development in the novel that the manga simply lacks either because of poor storyboarding and naming (believe me the explanations are sorely lacking in the manga why things work the way they do) or having to condense multiple chapters into a few frames, completely missing the original context.

A lot of the explanations about the system make much more sense when taking the novel into context. The point values are almost secondary and him stealing the protagonists' fate value is also not because he can't kill them otherwise but because it would be inefficient.

Regardless, read the novel if the manga interests you because it expands upon a lot more things.
My original rating does not change however. It's a solid 8/10, very entertaining but its not something that will shake your world.

The art is very beautiful, of course.

Oh also, the translation is sorely lacking for the novel almost seems like MTL but that's another topic.

This story focus on MC who is a fated to be badass villian that crush all kind of "fated Male/Female Lead".
Hoping the art quality can portrait the story properly.

Things just happen at break neck speed. Maybe it works if you read the novel. The MC is really a villain, which I don't think is a plus. For example, he nonchalantly murders a clan of innocent people to get some extra XP points. Most of the people he kills are assholes themselves, so it doesn't matter, but sometimes he kills their friends simply for existing.

There are no stakes, you are never in doubt the MC will win, which I think is boring. It isn't even like the MC makes any great plans or anything, he is just OP from the first moment.

No one has a real personality, including the MC. They are just plot devices in a bad plot.

Art is quite good, though I think the MC is not as good looking as he is supposed to be.

Good series, both novel and manhua

Highly Recommend
Amazing novel about transmigrator who gets a system to help him crush 'fated protagonists'. Similar to History's Strongest Big Brother, but I'd argue more focused around the central premise.

The MC is casually cruel, he enjoys playing with people and at one point casually destroyed a sect on a whim. I'd argue he truly is a villain, which makes it enjoyable to follow him as the MC.

That said, the so called 'fated protagonists' aren't exactly righteous people either. This novel does an excellent job of showing the other side of typical Xianxia Mass Murdering Chad MCs, and just how evil they can be.
Only criticism of the novel so far is that the MC seems to be powering up too quickly. I am worried that the power creep might ruin the mid/late stages of the novel.

Here! is the novel
