Description

I finished it. Everything is perfect. A good romance doesn't need both perfect leads, it just needs both characters to be either equally very good or very flawed (i prefer the later bc character developments are satisfying). Great storytelling and usage of flashbacks. Love how it discusses the trauma of each of the main characters and allows them to grow and change. I cried so many tears reading this story. The female lead has a strong character, which I love. The story depicts the male lead’s insecurities well and makes him feel more real.

This story had me sniffling in bed at night and seriously wanting to bash someone’s head in—preferably the ML’s and the FL’s dad’s. It’s depressing and heart-wrenching, with just a sprinkle of happiness in between. It’s so good I couldn’t stop reading. And the character growth? Immaculate👌

Honestly, it's one of the best manhwas I’ve read in a while.

apr 2025: 65 chapters in and they gave me all the good hurt.

storytelling ✅ pacing ✅ execution ✅ character development ✅

sept 2025: there's something about seeing a story's development and made you feel proud of its outcome. Others might not be able to finish, but this was really a great read especially how the side stories tied everything.

Although this manhwa is not finished yet, (i got to 60ch) This generally might've been one of the most heart touching manga's i have ever read. I cry and cry reading this, i can't help but feel sad and cry when reading this. This manhwa also told me alot about how the real life works. It taught me how serious war is, and anyone and everyone can betray you. Whether it's for your benefit or not. It taught me that not everyone is going to be happy with you. It taught me that life goes way's for a reason and there is no "destiny." It taught me that love is something that won't last forever. It taught me that impressions do leave a big understanding on who you are. It taught me, that people can change. It taught me that no one is good or bad, we are simply just people. It taught me whether someone is rancorous and rude they are still human. It taught me whether you believe your meretricious or sanguine, we are all people and thats life. This manhwa makes me pensive, i recommend greatly to read this. Take into thought that everything i said here was not supposed to be negative, i hope you enjoy this as much as me. Grab your tissues and your set. See you later!

Good decision

Currently in chapter 35.

Most of toxic relationship manhwas don't have this kind of part. The letting go process. Experiencing pain twice that you feel numb and just end all of it. Being let go and having a friend who helped (which in reality no friend will arrive, but we will not deviate from that since this is a fiction). And choosing the path you will take without any guy hindering you that even reminds me of story of Florence Nightingale.

I love the story, I love how the artist really depicts the scene as gloomy, depressed and the anxiety. I even anticipate on what the FL will do next? Will it be similar to The Problematic Prince? Or will it went to a positive light that both of them will be happy on their own or the other will receive the punishment they deserve?

Cried my eyes out!

I was reading this with ZERO EXPECTATIONS but ended up tearing my eyes up and binge reading the rest of the novel as soon as I read through the manwha. Their relationship is so toxic, full of angst but in a good way. Amazing manwha. Highly recommend this to yandere lovers and those into dark angsty plotlines that explore complex emotions from both male and female character. So much character growth.

My rating is based on the novel which is completed and fully translated, while the manhwa is not. There are a lot of scenes told from the ML POV in the novel which help explain why he is the way he is. The FL is not completely innocent. Her naivety borders on ignorance. Please read the novel before the manhwa. I'm 100% positive it would be more enjoyable
