Shame I find the Murim world story more interesting and the normal "hunter side" is kinda on the generic side of developments... (It used to be more interesting and became less and less as the story progressed...)

Still a good decent read though! Since I don't usually enjoy progression stories but this one made it interesting to follow (side characters in Murim world are GOOD).

Funny with likable characters. Though I wished, they involved more of the present world since he can somewhat easily switch betweeen the two.

Read until chapter 71. His oldest brother is the best, HANDS DOWN. 2nd is MC, but yeah, his older bro is the funniest, most caring, and supportive sibling I've seen haha.

2nd brother is okay. It's like.. tough love, I guess.

MAN, HE'S GETTING SO MUCH IMPROVEMENTS AND MONEY FROM ALL THIS. It's great, he can support his mom and sister and won't be struggling financially anymore.

Chapter 4, im very interested, its a very well written manga, the writer perfectly capture the way a person would react if Isekaid/sent to a different world, the comedy is great to, punchy and at the right moments without being to silly. I look forward to read on, ill update the review after a while and tell you what i think of the future chapters.

Chapter 57 After reading on i can confirm that this is a great manga, it keept me reading it without becoming boring once, when i was doing other things i found myself wanting to keep reading Murim Login.

It's a very good manga, 10/10 for sure.

Great read

The plot is pretty good and innovative. It makes sense and believable. Not in the sense of realistic but in the sense that the plot is well developed.
Plot like Solo Leveling is really not rare, in korean novels you can find lot of similar plots and VR novels are also commonly found in asian novels. But both together is rare. At least i didn't read one yet in both novels and manhwa.
Our protagonist live in a world similar to Solo Leveling. He found a VR machine that leads him into a VR world with murim/wulin setting but he can't log out unless he completes some quests. He is incarnated as a useless Third Young Master of an powerful family. Over time he found that the VR world is quite realist, all characters are life-like. By completing quests given by the system he is quickly becoming stronger. As spoiled in the summary, our protagonist will surely be able to switch between both world while keeping his strength.
What i like the most in this manhwa is how much his older brother in the VR world is doting on him and another fact i like is how the system is a 'reflection' of himself (c32, It probably have a deeper than we think).
From c2 to c36 (first log out at the end of c36) what author is focused is more on the character development, how he grew up attached to the VR world. The world building is still lacking but this is normal. This is still his first login after all, doing both character development and world building in same time would have been a bad choice. Fortunately author left a number of hints and the foundation is already laid down so we will probably see it soon.
Overall the plot is steady and well developed. A promising Manhwa worth reading.

Pretty generic stuff but done well, or well enough. It's a sort of mix of Solo login and Moonlight sculptor or similar VR stories, it doesn't try to innovate anywhere nor try to stand itself apart in any particular way, it's main difference with other similar stories would be that both reality and VR are fantasy based, one is an alternative present to ours were gates to hell appeared and the VR is the classic cultivation and sect set up and the MC will most likely be able to jump from one to the other at some point.
What it does well is not contradicting itself every other chapter which sound like a given but is a rare thing, the MC is a decent fellow but neither a hero on an ass and the comedy is not disruptive and in your face, the comedy usually happens in the thoughts of the MC or in little details, which is how I like it, I can't stand having every single char acting like idiots for a laugh.
So, mediocre story but done well, with a decent MC and it has comedy while taking itself seriously, if that's appealing then give it a go.

Read until. Ch24, pretty good story with humor sprinkled in as needed. The main character is believable as far as video game mechanics in fantasy story goes. Recommend a read to see if you like it.
