The school nurse, feared by everyone, with her white underwear peeking out of her black tights.
And then she caught me peeping at it….. Thus began the s.e.c.r.e.t afterschool counseling.

If you liked his other works but want a little more of slice of life slow progress, this is the series for you.
I finished the series on another site untranslated, so a lot of context I may be missing. Unlike Sundome or Ibitsu, our heroine, Shizuku (the nurse) here doesn't have a tragic end, but it is pretty depressing fate for her nonetheless.
There was an inner monologue at the end of chapter 74 by our protagonist, Kodama which he says that he would choose continuous joy over momentary pleasure. That statement, in essence defines the ending between him and Shizuku. It also didn't help the churning feeling in my stomach when Kodama and Shizuku started to use an abandoned house (THAT house from Ibitsu) for their meet-ups in the later chapters. They begin having full blown sex in chapter 129 and chapter 130 (final chapter) picks up from there with them going for several rounds until it's time for them to leave. Afterwards they say their goodbyes to go home, but as the Shizuku go to her apartment, she seems the shoes of a man already there. It seems he's been waiting on her; as she enters, they have an exchange of words before she gets in the shower and soon starts to break down. I don't know Japanese so I don't exactly know the context of what exactly is going on with her situation, but it's clear she hates whatever has to happen. I think the story may have even hinted at this situation because on the last page of chapter 90, Shizuku was masturbating while on the phone with Kodama but her ring (the ring she told Kodama several chapters earlier was a deterrent from marriage conversations) is placed on a desk in her room with a picture laid face-down. Some time later, Kodama comes to school only to find out Shizuku won't be returning. He end's up depressed at home with her pantyhose over his head to sooth his pain. His childhood friend, Akari comes over wearing pantyhose to try and cheer him up. It ends on a slightly comedic note with Kodama asking/proposing something to Akari in relation to the pantyhose and she reacts in an annoyed/disgusted way at it before the story closes out on their bantering. I think for the "momentary pleasure" might refer to Shizuku as she and Kodama can't see each other anymore. While the "continuous joy" is Kodama having Shizuku pantyhose to still reminisce about Shizuku.
It is an interesting manga, having read the other works from Okada Kazuto, this one has quite a different feel and yet i believe it will end like the others. The teacher-student relationship is fun to watch and i get the feeling it wont turn into anything serious. It makes it look like the teacher ''teaches'' rather than having a relationship. The only other manga with a teacher-student i read is Unbalance x Unbalance, which was mediocre at best so i don't have alot to compare with. SO far (up to ch 38), it is enjoyable, the kid is behaving more or less like a kid.. horny and curios. the teacher knows shes doing wrong and hesitates. I just hope the translation continues.
Hey guys, I'm up to the most recent chapter (raws) at 81 and it looks like Kazuto Okada stopped updating as of November 2020. Does anyone know what the current situation is and when he'll be making more? Thanks!
@smurf123 Knowing this author's previous works it's definitely going somewhere. It may build slowly but everything that happens should be meaningful later on. That's his style. It's not "leading nowhere", the main characters' relationship IS the story and that has to build from nothing. This kind of two person dynamic has been in all the stories from this author I've seen.
That said, for anyone who doesn't enjoy the characters' dynamic dropping it may be a good idea. There really is no "point" if you don't even enjoy that.
Female adult predator in a position of power grooming a male teenager (teacher/schoolnurse versus a student). Its interesting because its rare to see works with this power dynamic, if only it seemed like the author was trying to get to a point. It gets more and more disturbing the longer it continues despite the jarring humor.
Dropped it at chapter 8. Was becoming repetitive and leading nowhere.
