(Obligatory: I'm a woman blah I love action "seinen"/"shonen" type stories blah I've been looking for something like this blah blah blah)

No BS, designated girl-on-girl fights! Oh, no. Oh my God, FINALLY! Women in this aren't "told" to us that they're badass. No, the women are shown to absolutely take no shits from anyone; men, women and everything in between. They're going down. Real hard. Why, yes, gruesome deaths happens at these women's hands. And YES, they are NOT "evil" and ARE on the "good" side. So, no, not really any "crazy"-type of villainess women who just "wants to watch the world burn" either.

The femme fatale ones with that irritating characterization are immediately taken out before they can start their tired, trope filled arc! Here be intelligent, fast and proactive side characters who happen to be males and females to prevent it! Yes!

Usually this seems to only happen in Korean "Murim"/Jianghu-style manhwa because even in manga and manhua the women are usually an ensemble fighting force, backing up the men to a degree. They are never truly alone, to shine.

This has women taking on a group of very obviously badass men. No backup. Where the men are NOT shown to be weaker than the Lead Male/Main Chara and MC's men, as is the case in most examples, so when the women do the no holds barred beatdown it's not actually that impressive since the men were a joke to begin with. Now here's women who are gladly and professionally giving them the valid excuse for reconstructive/cosmetic surgery they've 100% been begging for.

Ugh. Amazing.

Oh, and the MC's not bad either. He's pretty cool, I guess.

I normally do not read stories like this but I was curious and was not let down. Each chapter brought me to the edge of my seat wanting to know what happens next. The art style was not my normal cup of tea but it was good and the plot got better and bigger. I really enjoy watching character redemption plots and how everyone intertwined either through relation or common interest. I do need to say I was a little thrown back how some character are just thrown away later on, as if they didn't exist. Felt like there should be more added in to expand the world and the plot, felt rushed in a way. But overall, really enjoyed it.

Underrated manhwa with badass MC. If you want action, look no further.
