One fateful day, the Suzushima Appraisal Research Company recruits Chisa Hirako, an unassuming college student, as a part-timer. Without much thought, Chisa enters the mysterious company and joins company president Suzushima and Uozumi to investigate “the authenticity of objects.” Chisa soon discovers through his investigations strange coincidences and threads of clumsy romance.

"Kawahatechou Yorou Kientan" has some influence of ancient Japanese supernatural folk in it. Wonderful plot, lovable characters that mysteriously connected to each other since day 1, and interesting multiple POVs . All four main characters have their own alluring sweet romance and I really enjoy reading their beautiful stories.

The art is simple and pretty but the writting and the plot progressing is anything but . Is a sweet story with supernatural elements in it like curses and goblins. I read it twice because it felt like the first time i was misisng something.
