There are no female characters with substance in this manga. I don't think that's asking for a lot, even in a shoujo manga. Even the main guy has nothing going for him other than the fact that he's good looking. It makes you wonder does the creator even have an interest in games?

It has an anime now (2023) and people are hyping it up reminds me of it. I read it in perhaps 2020 and then got bored so i dropped while waiting for new chapters

It's so wholesome and sweet! The romance is slow burn and the characters really develop. What I loved about this manga was that every character- includung side characters are treated with care and are all very interesting! The relationship between the main couple is healthy- especially because you can see how they consciously nurture other relationships as well. I know people are saying that the guy is too unrealistic and all that- but that's the point of a shoujo manga isn't it? Aren't you reading the wrong genre if you have a problem with that?

I so love this manga. Can’t wait for the next release. I want to find more manga like this. Just light but romantic.

Read this in one night up to the current chapter. Very light heart and good shojo series. Happy for the anime adaption

Another romance manga, nothing special except cringe. pretty good chance this was written by a woman too because the guy is too perfect.

If u want a fluffy romance with barely any drama than this is the one

I’m used to read every type of shoujos and romances, so I feel entitled to say that this story is a comfort space for anyone who is just looking for a fluff sweet romance. Both main characters are mature and quite wholesome, being realistic to a certain extent and quite admirable for their actions and healthy relationship. Absolutely a must to read!! (And to watch when they anime is aired haha)

Author doesn’t actually seem very tech savvy so sometimes when they try to add tech or game talk it makes me chuckle. Author has an interesting imagination of what they hunk the typical gamer or streamer is like.
Overall it’s a pretty solid shoujo manga: cute, charming, sometimes slice of life-ish. The art is pretty decent too, improves over time. My fav thing about the manga (as of now anyway, subjected to change) is MC and FC’s relationship, because it feels quite maturely written, no silly harem or triangles or random jealousy.
Once in a while they add rather ridiculous unrealistic drama to up the tension and that’s about it.
