It starts very dark and bloody, and the origin stories of both the FMC and MMC are tragic. To understand their relationship and progress as people one needs to understand they were both abused from childhood and are broken people. But this story, is a story of overcoming and as time passes they become more normal and the story becomes nicer and more wholesome.

Dark stuff still happens, but our main characters become more lovable and they meet more and more people that aren't horrible disgusting people.

Nothing here is ground breaking, but the art is very good, and the story is above average, and this is about as much as can be expected.

Everyone is tortured and abused. The FL loves to jump into danger and put herself in the hands of abuser(s). If you don't mind/like this type of stuff, maybe this is for you. Just continuous torture and abuse. The story hasn't really gone anywhere in the last few episodes idk why I read this until 90 or so chapters LOL

i'm a sucker for the yandere ML, i'm guilty about that.
the daddies are cute, and i love how caring they were to FL.
interesting alchemist plot.
i find the character designs unique since i don't mix them up with someone else's story.
so far, i like how everything is going in the 2 seasons.

The romance element isn't really there yet in this series but the story and progression are incredibly interesting. I find myself thinking if this series often so I hope it comes out of hiatus soon

edit: Now that season 2 is out omg I'm hooked. Such a slow burn romance but I'm living for every moment

Stereotypical trash with annoying FL and barking dog ML with anger issues.

- i read for entertainments purpose sometimes & first things first, know that the ml is a yandere (it’s made pretty obvious from the literal first chapter lol but some ppl still complain). you have to suspend belief if you want to enjoy this manhwa because yes ofc it’s toxic! but if evil why hot 🤷🏻♀️
- the ml is super hot lmfao i love long haired men. and he’s actually so interesting, his motives & actions are so unpredictable. i’m so genuinely intrigued by his thoughts
- the fl is very apathetic & not necessarily uncaring, she’s just fighting to stay alive. i quite like her, she keeps the dynamic back and forth interesting instead of being the typical scared off fl
- i’m actually really enjoying this 🙂 all the characters have different, unique appearances, stories and plots & i’m actually excited to read more. very addictive quality (each ch is a bit shorter than typical) but i enjoy the pacing. am really excited to read more!

I love the plot, art and the characters! ❤️ The plot and characters are better described in the novel but I am still looking forward to the new chapters. I would highly recommend reading the novel from which this manhwa was inspired. Also, love how the main guy is a yandere, always a plus ❤️
