it's very clear this manga is purely for titillation purposes. Kuro's age is never defined, in fact, it's quite possible that this is one of those fantasy scenarios where an animal turns into a human. He looks exceedingly young, tho, and Kouta's sempai is always commenting on how Kouta is eating Kuro up and calling him a perv lol. There's lots of smut and I will admit that the relationship is cute, but I'm really not into shota. Just not my thing.
The next volume looks like it'll be about a much more mature couple (with the goofy sempai), so I will look forward to that. Hopefully the story will also have a little more substance as well.
