Description

Touno Hifumi was summoned to another world, to be a Hero for a kingdom. Unbeknownst to the summoners, he's a kill-happy person who restrained his killer instincts with martial arts.

Badass Novel

Protagonist is....basically Chaotic Evil with a pinch of Lawful Evil sometimes. He's op af, cold and collected at all times. Pretty much the good stuff😎. Better than most other Isekais (Personally its #1 for me IMO). As the mc and plot aint clique at all (At leasy in JP novels. In CH novels, it is a bit). Tho tbh the MC aint evil, he's more or less an Anti-Villain which is also pretty unique.
Although some stuff can be improved like the world building, it still deserves at least 1 read.

Action, blood ,economy,politics and very light story

I like this LN but saying the truth it is written on average level.

The story is about a psychopath Hifumi who wanted to kill people but being lawful person couldn't follow his desires in our world. And luckily main character had a chance to be forcibly transferred to another world. He starts his adventures with murdering a god, a king and some knights. Later we start to understand that this action was more or less justified.

Readers may like the story as it is abundant with action so for me it was hard to stop to read it and go to sleep. I liked Hifumi struggles with Orsogrande princess. My favourite character in a story is Origa who reminds me Albedo from Overlord a bit. Despite being very bloody and cruel "Summoned slaughter" is very light as it is extremely naive. When Hifumi protects someone then this person becomes practically immortal. When someone opposes him then the one is presumed to be dead despite few exceptions left alive on purpose to create a world more amusing for Hifumi. There is a lot more unrealistic examples. City can be evacuated within few hours through one gate, new district of a city can be rebuilt within few days without its authorities knowing it etc.

It is first time I read a story where main character is so invincible and generally better in everything then other world inhabitants. And it is caused by invisible hand of an author. Being 18 (?) years old Hifumi is master of much more then one martial arts. Knights do not know how to fight, politicians are unable to scheme etc. And it is first time when I lost my interest of MC and I preferred to read side stories. Following from one described the same way one sided slaughter to another may be interesting but not all the time.

There is a lot about politics, economy, country administration which I really liked. Despite being evil Hifumi is doing a lot of good things by creating a nation of happy people by using his modern knowledge. Generally his actions have a positive results despite his evil desires. It is a shame that this actions do not follow his boring character which does not change.

EDIT:
A lot of girls is attracted by main character but he cares only about killing. There is some romance and even a serious relationship is created . Till now I found out two short side threads with a romance of side characters.
EDIT: There is more romance (weird one) and a kind of harem in later chapters

There is one tragic element in a story but I did not shred one tear as it was artificial and easy to predict. My only thought about it was: "People do not behave like this". And you do not care when so many people is killed anyway.

It a shame the this LN is translated in average level. And because of it I had to ponder a lots of times to understand some dialogs or narration parts. In case of wrong words it is possible to change it in our mind on the fly but in case of wrong sentences it is difficult.

If you like action and you are immune to bloody description then you may like this story. If you looking for something more serious, realistic then you may be disappointed. I continue to read this LN.

Chapter titles

Not the best, but the MC has a very different outlook on life and takes no shit. I like that each of the chapter titles is actually named after a seemingly relevant song title. It gets quite obvious the more you read with famous song names, but I noticed properly with chapter 11 - can't stop, which is RHCP!

Read up to chapter 19.

The MC can best be described as a vigilante and outlaw combined into one. The MC encourages conflicts to escalate to killing due to his morbid fascination with the martial arts. He happily becomes the tool of the corrupt if it means he can kill more. Subtle... no, fun read so far? yes.

Like Wang Lin from Xian Ni and Yun Che from Against The Gods.
Merciless in a sense like THE REGIS.

A truly unique and non clique MC

This novel became my all time favourite the moment I read it.Though the MC may have quite a twisted reasoning of thing,but in my POV I think its the type of personality you need to have in a world where the strong eats the weak.And personaly I hate those typical MC that follow blindly those who have summoned them,just because a pretty princess ask them to defeat a demon king and whatnot.Also I would have done the same thing,Im gonna be all like "Fuck you,fuck your kingdom,and fuck your situacionAnd the demon king can go suck my cock".Beside Ive read enough Ln to know that if a nobel knows your an ignorant and naïve fuck they'll use you for there own purpose then if you have no more use to them they'll just throw you out.So yeah I love the he does his stuff,and at the very least hes not a virgin idiot naïve fuck.He experience love so I dont think hes totally a bad person.

Meet the main character.

He's your "typical" "ordinary", "everyday" japanese who is not too tall, not too muscular, not too ugly, not too handsome.....in short a pure DEMON.

Yep. Our "hero" summoned to another world aginst his will is possibly the WORST thing they could have ever done. Calling on a guy who is more terrifying than the monsters you are actually trying to use him to protect you against. He's quite prudent too. Brilliant, actually. But his vocabulary usually involves something like "I'll kill you" or "will I get into trouble if I kill this prick?" And with an affirmative answer still proceeds to dismember them cause "well...wont I get more people who want me dead, to stupidly get themselves killed by me instead? Weeeee" or something. He gives no fucks....whatsoever. And a closet perv too who gains immense satifaction from his kills.

But hey, he is a young genius who reached the pinnacle of martial arts. In our world we see it only as sport when in fact it is a method of killing. No doubt about it. And our "hero" has been constantly holding himself back due to our current peaceful society. True, he's a bit messed up since he actually desires to kill people, his path in killing skill's strenth can only shown when people are fighting to kill each other...duh. So what do you think would happen if you unleash someone like that into a world where strength is the only means of survival? That's like letting a tiger out of a zoo and putting him in forest filled with herbivores.

Attitude. Strength. Resolve. He isn't garbage in any category. Another typical MC goes to another world trope but that is where the similarities end. The MC is brutal and while not entirely heartless, achieves his goals as straightforward and quickly as possible: violence.

Plot and whatever else is at a acceptable level at this point (if not average) but for MC alone its a +2 and is a fresh of breath air from typical Japanese protagonists that gets cliched over and over again.

Maybe i'm just a little too biased or hyped after reading the first ten chapters with an amazed look on my face, but i honestly cannot remember the last time a Japanese light novel was actually this GOOD.
No idiotic or dense male protagonist who gets sourrounded and bullied by tsunderes. Then again i'm the type who loves an OP protagonist unleashed upon the rest of the world.

From the getgo this MC already more powerful than the average person, then two gods gave him even more power and sent him to a new world. Riiiight... I appreciate Kerambit for taking his/her time translating this but the translating isn't that great, there is a few weird sentences that stop the flow of the story as you're reading this. Anyway back to the series, it's doesn't seem that good.
