This manga is a mess and fails in a lot of ways on average but does have some competent stuff in there mixed in sometimes.
The art is good for most chapters but some are either very rushed or very lazy and you notice the liquefy tool being poorly used to fix a lot of the perspective and it's VERY clearly visible (especially on the faces and expressions) and poorly done. A lot of the time the art struggles really hard to represent "film" in a manga which happens frequently considering MC is in film school.
The comedy is very poor: a mix of the usual lucky pervert events followed by an extreme physical attack in retaliation and a bit of character based comedy that misses more often than it lands.
The story very rarely feels like it is affected by any characters actions. This is more of a "convenient/inconvenient thigs just happen" sort of story which clashes hard against the main theme of "perseverance" when they are convenient but helps reinforce it a bit when they are inconvenient. That being said they are convenient FAR more frequently than not.
The characters are pretty consistent most of the time if you ignore the comedy and romance scenes. I think the main cast characters are generally pleasant. They're not enough to make me keep reading the series but they are the reason I stuck with it this long.
Almost everything related to film they touch on is either non-sense or comically over-simplified. Like at one point the protagonist is unironically impressed that a Japanese film student knows that Martin Scorsese is a director; not that they know any particular film by him or some trivia about his work, just that they heard of him.

Goes back in time, surrounded by "coincidences" he immediately meets and starts living with people that become important in the future. It's such a low-effort plot, I couldn't even be bothered to keep reading. Let's rewind time and to really make it interesting, just hand the MC important connections right from the get-go. MC is your typical no-personality Japanese MC. Trash.
