I've read this a few times now, it's enjoyable for a boring day. It's a little repetitive and simplistic but it's very cute and adorable. The characters are sweet and the story is different and entertaining.

Great characterization and creative use of tropes.

The only reason I couldn't give it a 10 is the series is too short to follow the characters to the end of the story that their trajectories indicated would be their journey. I would have loved to see it play out.
I think the story is deeper than its apparent simplicity shows. It has held up for me for multiple readings. The mangaka did a lovely job of letting the characters push themselves around on the impetus of their own personalities rather than sudden plot devices falling on them out of the sky. Both ways can be enjoyable, but the first is more difficult and therefore more rarely seen.
Ah, I still want to give it a ten because both my mind and my heart love it so much, but I'll hold myself back for the reason I stated. Heh!

It's really basic and cute. Don't look for much beyond the surface. The scarecrow's devotion to his master's pretty adorable. It's just your run of the mill, cutesy shoujo. Innocuous and quick, but it doesn't really leave an impact.

It's pretty simple in the sense of plot. I wish there would have been more romance between the two of them, of course. Even so, it has charms that you might just enjoy if you give it a chance.
