Ok having read all of the chapter online (mangafox), and having gotten vol 4 in English and found vol 6 raw. A huge question has formed in my head, okay as of the chapters on mangafox, it is not sure if the man you see thee main girl with( cant remember names for sh**) is a lover or a doctor? Okay as of end of vol 4 you get meet him and he asks main character if he wants to know his relationship with the girl, you dont find out, okay that leaves us with vol 6, cause i cant read Japanese i only skimmed through it and there is scene where the main character is at the girls house, and ether the man is there, our comes after but you end up with the two main characters outside on her balcony, and she leaves the main character outside and goes in, a page later you she her undressing or redressing, cant tell ( the amount of time or what is heard is unknown cause the main character covers his ears) he pats her on her head and leaves. Whew Ok here is the question,having not read / skimmed vol 5 and not being able to read vol 6, I am wondering is he her lover or not because of what goes on in vol 6 compared to what happens in vol 3 end and vol 4 is very different?

You read up to the end of Vol 4?? I only see only the start of vol 4 chapter 29 on mangafox, i only have read up to vol 3 so i can't say i kno what your talking about, and the guy she was seeing has me interested if he's actually her lover, but you also could be a doctor. Main character is got on my nerves from the start on how he accepts everything because he doesn't want to get hated by her. Anyway, i looking foward to big developments from him.

To answer your question, she's seriously sick, and that guy's her doctor. That's why she was crying near the end of vol 4, and her hospital visits and bleeding in vol 5.

ok ill trade you vol 6 for 5 if thats ok with the admins of course. i came up with a ending that i thought was pretty good. The story goes on with her teasing him and minor character come and go and get together etc, etc..
we reach a point were he ether snaps and tries to rape her , or her disease catches up with her, i picked the later, she ends up hospitalized and in her dieing bed she says she is sorry for treating him like that and tells him her feelings, whether they good or bad for him, and he says with a smile ill see tomorrow, and he leaves. Problem is that she does not make it till tomorrow. A few years later he goes to pay respects to her and he bumps into someone leaving, he counties on and sees that someone had just payed respects to her, and he realizes the person he bumped into was the mysterious man and as mysterious as the man entered he exits, the ending dialog is something like, "thank you for saving me from my self and you will always be my first love and ill will always treasure you" THE END So leave comments and what think, and remember this my personal opinion on the ending

Sounds like one of the better endings, but I personally can't believe that he will ever go against her wishes. To be honest I don't even want to think about it. I read quite a lot of manga by now and slowly but certainly they all begin to feel the same. This story is more original, it's different (except the comedy, that one sucks) . I really hope that the mangaka will surprise us in a totally unexpected way we would never have thought of and not the total obvious " I needed the money " or "he is my doctor and I'm going to die".

I think that the story is more complicated than just her having a disease, I've been noticing that we never see the girl eating, she keeps bleeding from her nose, and after her period is done the older guy visits her and she misses school. My own hypothesis is that she ran away, she was picked up by the guy, they have sex, and now in an attempt to keep her as a loli, she doesn't eat.I know it's messed up, but this is what I have come to expect from the twisted dark side of Japanese perversion.
Truthfully the main guy pisses me off because he doesn't lash out the way I would hope, like in the restaurant. I think that more than anything the guy will just be happy if anyone pays attention to him. I also hoped that his impotence would have a bigger role that would make the girl question her own self worth.
With the way the story is going, I hope the way snaps and shows some balls(at least beat up the old man, hopefully kill
).

i skimmed through vol 6-7 rather i seriously think he is a doctor plus i think he has a wife (and that she maybe their daughter) reason is due to the festival chapters. as for the main character i think she has feelings for him (e.g when she is crying after seeing him cry under the bandages and seeing them wet)....but these are my speculations as i only skimmed and didnt read throughly

Oh my! i'm amazed by your commnets!... this isn't the ending right?... because i'm a little confused~ but, to answer the post, i really support the idea of RakShine... she never eats, and her body is like an anorexic girl~ She has a lot of problems, and in some way, i'm starting to dislike this story, cause' is always the same. I want more!!!!

she definitely has some relationship with him cause in one of the chapters she had gone off and he was listening to them have sex while hiding in the bathroom burning himself and when she came back and asks him what he was doing he said that it hurt or something but since he could not handle what was going on out there he just was escaping reality by using the pain it has been a while since i read it but it was something like that.

I suggest you keep reading on, they did not have sex, he is her doctor and possibly her father, he has a wife. When she took her clothes off, the doctor was examining her, daily routine examination to see how far the illness is affecting her.

In the end, Sahana dies when Aiba and the gang 'kidnaps' her from the hospital she's in (with the doctor's implicit permission) and takes her to the seaside to fulfill a promise to see the waves (and have sex) with her. Aiba later becomes an intern under the doctor, Kattsun becomes a lawyer and is engaged to Kyoko.
Oh, and Kyoko's face when seeing Sahana for the last time is heartbreaking.

Thank you for telling me (possibly us) the essentials of the ending. I was tired of waiting for the 2 final vols and skimmed them as raws instead. Good to know that what i guessed happened did happen.
