Definetly Maki murakami.
And she's gotten better over the years. The art and intensity in her Doujinshi's is amazing. 😉 And i love that she bases them on her own series.

Those go for favorite BL mangaka in general, and otakubaybay got it all covered in her thread.
This one is for the art style. ^^

Hell, I just can't stand stuff by yamane ayano, nitta youka or naono bohra 🤢

My favorites are Takashima Kazusa and Kisaragi Hirotaka, because I prefer more natural looking characters over stylized characters. And because I like my BL men to look like MEN, damnit. Well, not construction workers, but you know...fit men. In which case, you'll dig Yamane Ayano as well (although I don't care for her stories as much).

When I'm in the mood for wispier, more androgynous types between the sheets (or when I can't decide if I want to read BL or shoujo smut) I dig into some Sawauchi Sachiyo, Yamagishi Hokuto, and Hoshino Lily. Check 'em out.

I like the art for Shinkuu Yuusetsu. But I haven't read this author's other works.

The backgrounds and panels are very well-done. And I like the ways she draws facial expressions and designs clothing/backgrounds.
