I call my mother mum usually, but it sometimes sounds like mom. This transition suddenly happened recently; Prior to this I always called her mama.

Mum's a single parent and I haven't met my dad. So I guess he's just dad. xD

Mommy... though I'm sure I called her "mẹ" when I was a wee child.
Daddy or "bố" for my dad...

My dad refers to himself as "bố"... whereas my mom switches between "Mommy" and "mẹ" (but I think she refers to herself as "Mommy" most of the time) smile wink grin

When talking to them: Ma and Dad

When talking about them: Mama and Papa or Mom and Dad. Depends on who I'm talking to...

Mother= Maman or M'man
Don't know the father, was too young to remember so when he comes up in the conversation I say father (père) ('cause it bugs my mom and bro when I call him by his name)

I call my Mom, Mãe, and my dad, Pai. But sometimes when they can't hear me, I call them their names in a baby voice, something like: 'Teresa/Tesa' and 'Luís/Lis' biggrin

I call my mom "mamma" and my dad "pappa or Tonneman"

If I'm mad at my mom I often call her by her name "Karin" (I also do this when she doesn't listen)

My dad's name is Ton (From Antonius) and so my mom (and now everyone else) has given him the nickname "Tonneman"

And I sometimes call my mom "Muti or Memmi" (The first one is because I picked it up in german-class & the second one..I don't exactly know why, but I used to say this a lot, now, not that much anymore)

It's just "Mum" and "Dad"

Even when I'm talking about them, it stays the same.

Been like this for a long long time.
