as for me,i dont have anyone in mind at the moment so i cant really answer the question

I rather be loved by many and hated by the person I like. I mean, how great can one stupid person be anyway? Unless that person is my mother, then I couldn't take it.

I think that makes sense: if everyone loves you, and the person you love hates you, I think that it makes that person even more special/interesting. I would love him more! (I sound so creepy)

I'm pretty sure my choice would be to be loved by the one, especially as I'd end up not being able to care about so many other people anyway.

Seconded. Besides, I don't have anyone special in my mind atm. Besides, you can always find another one to love amongst those people who love you. XD

I think I'd rather be loved by everyone,but hated by the one I love. I mean it's not like I'm capable of loving only 1 person, and being hated by everyone...just think about that for a few moments and try to imagine how you'd live like that.

i think the question is actually about love and friendship,which one would you give up for the other?
love can be bittersweet,can make you weaker(especially if your interest is cold or indifferent towards you)
but friendship is always a source of strength,so i choose being loved by everyone but hated by the one i love....

I choose neither.
