I have a horrible case of fear of the dark but it is overshadowed by the inexplicable fear of, get this, moths.

eek Moths. eek Harmless, little butterfly-like insects who are too dumb to avoid open flame and I freak when one is near.

Makes no effin' sense at all.

Fear of shots? It's not the needles: I'm fine with needles; it's the idea of a foreign substance being injected directly into my blood. You might say I'm afraid of the corruption of my blood. Still, I suck it up once a year and grab that flu shot. I'd rather suffer five or six minutes of flipping out than the flu, because with my asthma, it would invariably turn to pneumonia, which I don't want the hassle of, having seen my sis do it once.

In tune with that hypothesized fear of corruption of my blood, I absolutely cannot stomach the idea of getting it drawn. Something is so disgusting and wrong with it to me that...I just can't bring myself to do it. I literally break into a sweat and feel sick--and that's just when I'm in a position where I don't think I'll be able to avoid having it drawn. My blood is my vitality, dammit; I don't want it being messed around with!

It's not fear of blood though, or fear of losing blood. I get sliced and diced and scraped and skinned all the time when I'm messing around outside. The only thing I worry about when I start bleeding is getting blood on my clothes, because, quite frankly, that can take some work to get out.

Heights. I'm afraid to go out onto balcony. Ironically, I used to live on 10th floor of a building situated a top of a hill. It was... high.

Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia <--- fear of long words. Someone was being ironic/sarcastic/vicious laugh

Heights. Although now I endure them much better than when I was a kid.

I fear very tight places, at least feel uneasy.
I have been trapped in a travel luggage
during the midsummer, wearing a wool shirt.

Entomophobia could be the closest one.
All parasitic forms disgust me.

I see that Claustrophobia is not on the poll.. Though it's one of the more known ones..

Nosocomephobia. I'd have to go with that one. Mainly because.. both my parents died in one.. I had to stay in one for a few months.. and every time I do go to one.. it really makes me sad.. and it's just so cold and gloomy.. and for some reason, I don't know, maybe it's because of the thing with my parents, I always associate it with death :/ I don't like going to one if I don't have to.

Mine's even worse. I'm afraid of...get this...butterflies!! Yes! Those cute little colorful harmless winged creatures flying about. I don't really know why I do, but I guess that's the nature of phobias, ne? an odd and inexplicable fear...

I don't really have a phobia.

But I voted fear of getting old. I wouldn't want to be a granny! I would have voted claustrophoiba, but it wasn't there. I don't like tight places, but I can tolerate it, I'm just not comfortable. If it's a small room, I almost always leave the door open.

you don't have a phobia just because you are scared of spiders. Phobia are irrational fears. They are often extreme. Like a person who is afraid of the outside, will stay in their house their entire life. A person with a phobia for insects will probably spray insecticide everywhere and burn the ground within a 1 mile radius[ may be a little exaggeration to make a point].
