Haha. I have no idea what zangetsu/juha bach said at all in this chapter. I didn't want to see you become a shinigami because if you did, you would be hurt and such. And if you became a shinigami i would eventually kill you. What? So why would he kill him if he was a shinigami? Didn't tensa zangetsu say that the one he wanted to protect was ichigo? Now he wants to kill him? And at the last page or two he became the fatherly figure and died giving ichigo his new sword...? And apparently zangetsu never saved ichigo at all....it was the hollow? The hollow that destroyed everything like a complete psychopath? Tis chapter honestly raised more questions than answers...

Only after it turns out that the spirit king was the true ultimat bade all along and ichigo defeats him ...

I don't know about you guys but a enjoyed the chapter...

And its about time all of us budding critics accepted Bleach for what it really is...a shounen manga
By definition it is aimed at the male teenage demographic...its not a highly acclaimed piece of classic literature...loosen up guys...lets just enjoy Ichigo kick ass as he grows strong without rhyme or reason

You think too little of shounen manga. The demographic doesn't matter, there is always suppose to be a pattern or point in a story. Shounen manga is not an exception. Read a little more if you think this kind of storytelling is normal for it.

You have to remember that Ichigo is unique. His shinigami powers were merged with a hollow long before. He really is the type of Hybrid that Aizen wanted to create, but it only happened because he was born with both the shinigami powers and the hollow. And then there were the Quincy powers, manifested through Juha Bach.

But he is right. Even back volumes and volumes ago, Except for the Ban Kai training, Ichigo would go up against the hollow ichigo, his true zanpakuto. When acquiring the final Getsuga, it was a merger of the two that he fought, not just a young Juha Bach. And when he said "die by my hands", was he referring to himself, or his other self, the true Juha Bach.

So, what happened to the Old Man? Does this mean that Ichigo will no longer have his Blut powers?

Given that it appears Zangetsu is the true name of his zanpakuto, and he's already at an extremely high level of synchronization with it, I would wager he won't have to really learn anything or achieve ban-kai. I wonder though if he'll get some more interesting powers.

Bleach been going on for over 10 years now. Ichigo is part human part hollow part shinigami part quincy. This is probably why the spirit king is interested in him, and also why Tite Kubo can pull pretty much anything out of his nether regions to make the plot work out.

What's strange is that it's not all that hard to believe. I think of this development much like the Fuji Kujaka- Ruri'iru Kujaka thing. It's just that the spirit inside him was suppressing the power without his knowledge.

However, I would like to point out that when he got his bankai, he was fighting Juha Bach with Juha Bach's power. The hollow was in no was associated with his Bankai training, until he took over during the Byakuya fight.

Also, what was all that stuff way back at the Kenpachi fight about how "he'll soon belong" to the hollow side? They were talking to each other after Ichigo left the inner world, while the hollow side was reintegrating with Juha Bach.

this was a good chapter, I liked it, a bit long winded but I like old man Zangetsu so he needed a good long goodbye.

Ichigo is a Shinigami, Quincy, and Hollow... I wonder who the strongest person in the Bleach world is. It seems like Ichigo is just going to completely overwhelm everyone again. I hope Kubo can keep things interesting.

You know, it is a bit hard to swallow. So powers within a person can have a personality of their own. Said personality may imitate the person who is the source of that power. As far as bleach chapters go, I liked this one. I mean, this is not nearly as bad as fullbringer days...

And we still don't learn his name. Although 'yay' we know the inner hollows name is Zangetsu's now x.x

Pretty sure Ichigo's zanpakuto is called Zangetsu and not the hollow

The only thing I had against this was the fact that he wasn't even using a complete version of Zangetsu but just some halfbaked portion of it. I mean what does that make Aizen who was supposed to be one of the strongest characters in Bleach? A kitten that lost to some incomplete power?
