On mangafox....Vampire Knight, Black Bird, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece well basically all the famous titles were removed....so lame.....

All of them are licensed, why can't you just buy them, out of curiosity? And if you live in a different country, you can always get them shipped to you, y'know.

I mean, for me, whenever I read scanlations--and I find out they're licensed, I buy them (that does give licensing companies more money to license stuff so win-win situation). For example--I read Prince of Tennis (well, I knew it was licensed at the time, read it to see if I would like it.) I did like it, now, I have 1~4, I plan on buying more in the series though, when I have the time.

You know, not every one of us has that much money. A typical manga volume costs about $12 in my country - which is, in my opinion, ridiculously overpriced. Moreover, if you're talking about series like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, etc. which all have volumes in the near fifties, that's a LOT of cash you're going to have to be willing to spend...

You know, if you and other manga fans in your country don't like the price, you could try boycotting? It might get them to lower the price at least a little bit. But I don't know for sure :/.
It's not like I have that much, either (concerning money). I only work part-time (and get paid every other week), but I always make sure I save enough to support the authors/distributors at least a little bit (most cost around 10~11 if you look at most of the distributors like Viz and Del Rey, and I live in the US btw).

Well, yea, you can boycott. Now would that really solve the problem with money? No. Your post is sort of contradictory - how would you be able to offer support to the authors/distributors if you boycott them? Besides, boycotting will not give you immediate results, that is - if any.
And just to clear things up, I do own my share of purchased manga. It's more like a collection though, since I haven't really touched them once after I've finished with reading them. I find it ridiculous to be paying $10+ continuously for volumes and volumes of manga just for the sake of reading them, when they can be found online. Especially if you're talking about a series with 10+ volumes. That's $100 right off the bat, not even including the tax. I don't know about you, but I have better things to spend 100 bucks on.

Hey, I was only saying, because you considered them too expensive. I never implied that it would work nor that I've ever boycotted before--it's just usually when people don't like something they tend to boycott it until it changes or so I've watched/read about. And, well, I'm a book-nerd, so I'm perfectly fine spending my money on novels and manga (and CD's, DVD's and Games, but eh, whatev.)
