Shoujo adaptations almost never turn out well, I have my reservations.

What about Bokura ga Ita? I thought that came out really well biggrin
But I can't wait for the anime! I'm so excited!! Kazehaya animated will be the greatest thing since sliced bread! jk

^ Bokura ga Ita was pretty good, except for the strange cases of disappearing facial features...

I just hope they pick good seiyuu. The SA anime, for example, was ruined for me because of Kei's ridiculously deep voice.

That's really, really exciting! I'm getting into the manga now and I find it very enjoyable! I think it will work well as an anime smile

The BgI anime was exactly like the manga - including still frames longer than 30 seconds. The animation was really week. For that reason, I'm not too excited with shoujo manga to anime adaptations either.

Well, I still look forward to it nontheless.

not much of an anime person... i'm sticking with the manga... just read the first chap, though since it's still ongoing... i'm going to wait for it to finish before reading it...

What about Itazura na Kiss? I loved that anime... It was a little rushed in the beginning, but it was over all a good adaptation.

I'm really looking forward to this anime though. hopefully it'll stay true to the manga and they won't change too much.

supposed to start in the fall. i am currently a little disappointed that the manga translation has not picked up as much as i had hoped before the anime release.

there is supposed to be a live action drama for this coming next year aswell, never having watched many live action/manga/animes i have reservations about that

YES YES YES Mamiko Noto as Sawako. Sweet voice heaven.

That aside I can see them doing a faithful adaptation because the manga is AT a point that they can just potentially end the series. Chapter 39's going to be AWEEESSOOOMEEEE.
