Currently using Windows XP.
I grew up using both Mac and Windows so I don't have a strong preference for either one. Slight edge goes to window only because I've had more experience using it.
I've used Linux also but not enough to say anything about it.

Wow, windows XP dominates laugh

I guess that's to be expected...

Windows XP for me too because of the games..Wine doesn't help sometimes. Though I really like the visual features in Ubuntu...

I gotta agree with Gan.
Microshaft fails in everything else but gaming
and it fails in that as well after two months,
since it magically stops working properly like some
first model of PS2. Just an ocean of error reports.
Mac is only for guys with turtlenecks
and fat rimmed spectacles who can't think
of other objects to waste their surplus cash on
than jet-black chairs in palish grey, round rooms
and an OS that costs twice as much as others with the same
capabilities as any other OS.

I am no computer nerd...XD

And I haven't really experienced other kinds of OS's other than Windows. I'm on Vista right now, but I kind of prefer XP over it...

Someone told me the Mac basically stole Linux's design and then "trashed it."

He said it, not me.

That's interesting theory. wink
(My comment: I do not see it in this way)

Currently, I deal with both Mac OS X and Windows XP. In past, I used Linux and others (by others I mean such OS like Amiga OS, Classic Mac OS, DOS, etc.), as well.
One day I may go back to Linux, but I am waiting for more programs to be available for this system. Hopefully, Apple will help. biggrin

Currently using XP. Tried to help someone else use Linux, but it hated me, so I'm going to stick with my computer and leave that one alone. laugh

tchh, linux fan boy. You should know full well how difficult it is to use linux. I want to print something from a printer, but oh, it's not compatible, so I have to go online to find a linux driver...and oh what? it doesn't exist, now i can't even use the printer anymore. mad
