It was suggested before but not approved by mods. I think the general view is that there are already too many genres and some should be weeded out so I doubt you'll see any new genres any time soon.

You can always use the categories to search for stuff that isn't given its own genre. Bara has its own category though some listings are more yaoi than bara... but at least it narrows down your search.

Im tossing between the two but cant decide
bara is ok, some i dont like with fat guys or hairy bears
yaoi is also ok, some i dont like with weak little dudes or lanky dudes

the storyline is also a big factor to this but i guess most is just about explicit scenes and relationships
