Nope.
They tried to implement it at the start of every highschool year but they never managed to make the students wear it.
4-0 for the students. biggrin

In Kindergarten, Elementary School, and Junior High I had to wear uniforms. I absolutely hated them. At my high school we don't have uniforms, however next year they intend to try to have one. Its going to be my senior year, so in all honesty I'm going to be ignoring it if they get one. laugh

My school had a dress code from K-8th grade. It was solid color shirts with a collar, navy, black, or khaki pants, skirts, shorts, or jumpers. You could only wear solid color shoes, and the shirt had to be tucked in at all times. You also had to wear a nametag, which was a pain, especially if you lost it. I thought it was okay, it was pretty easy to pick out clothes every morning.

A friend of mine goes to a Catholic all-girl's high school, and she wears one of the stereotypical uniforms with the plaid skirts and all, and I'm so jealous. She just loves wearing it because she's a fan of manga and school uniforms in manga as well, although she's said to me that most of the girls at her school hate the uniform.

I agree that men in suits are hot. Uniforms are the greatest fetish.

Had to wear one throughout my entire school life. Horrible, horrible things. Itchy jumpers, baggy trousers, tight shirts, and TIES. none

Thank god I'm in college now...

You're missing 2 poll choices. "Yes and I didn't mind" and "No and I didn't mind"

I would answer "Yes and I didn't mind".

It was a simple T-shirt with the school logo in it =P

Yes, but I hated it (at that time.)
In one of my Elementary schools, it was a white polo shirt with a dark blue skirt. Same with one of my Middleschools. (I went to several.) They were so strict. They wouldn't even let me wear a colored shirt under my white polo shirt. They'd give me detention for it. none
My Highschool didn't have uniforms. But they did restrict some logos, and provocative clothing.

Never.
We were allowed to wear anything we wanted to. No restrictions whatsoever.
And university...seriously, only those who study economics (formal wear) or elementary teaching (high heels and pink stuff) feel the need to identify through clothing.
Some people even refuse to wear shoes in summer... that is freedom. wink

People can be non conformist all they like but I enjoyed the idea of a school uniform and even when they didn't make me wear one for my last two years of High school I still wore something formal, actually it was a lot more formal than the school uniform and people sometimes mistook me for a teacher. But then again by me dressing almost like a teacher I was probably being non conformist in my own way, probably a not so radical and "look at me I'm hard stuff" way but in my own way.

I was never in a private school, but when I lived in FL, both of my brothers attended one. There's a certain freedom to wearing a uniform that I wish I had been able to experience.

I don't really like those in between things. I mean typically most the things in life are just in between. none

And I have to say the poll is so even. none A lot more even then I'd thought it would be.

No, and I'm glad that I didn't. I like being able to wear a variety of clothes. I also like comfortable clothes.

Well... I'm in college now so it doesn't really matter anymore, but back in high school my school had uniforms and I actually liked it. It saves up 30 minutes for picking the right clothes to wear lol.
