@ akari_mizunashi: Really? From what I see, tsundere heroines are a dime a dozen.

Moe? Hmm, xD maybe, depends on how it's done I suppose.

Ahhh none of those fit the bill either. .-. I'm looking for a more genuine heroine, if that makes any sense.

Maybe I should should show you guys some excerpts/art examples of the RP OC pair, to give a better gist?

Darn RP's got me craving a very specific type of couple so... >.>

@ SarutobiIchigo: Ahh, in the mood for looking for a more genuine heroine. Not exactly the determined lovesick type (Not to say she can't have a crush on the hero)

@ jadey: ^^; Not really what I'm looking for either. I'm not looking for a nature heroine perse, I'd prefer it is she was maybe somewhat juvenile due to her naivete, genuinity, adorable factor, and whatnot.

Basically, I want a womanizing hero to fall for little miss cutey sunshine.

Strobe Edge? The heroine is pretty adorable and sunny, without getting insistently in your face. Hero's not really a womanizer, but he's the most popular guy in school there, and he gets charming in his own way later on.

The thing is, this is a very subjective request. For another person, so-and-so heroine to another person may have all your desired requirements, while you see otherwise. Basically, the best way to go about it is to perhaps provide more examples other than Loki/Mayura (the latter who I consider to be quite annoying at times. See what I mean? laugh )

I'm surprised no one's reccomended Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu, but then again, she can be a bit annoying and cliche and probably everyone on the planet has tried this series at one time or another XD

I'll also throw D-ASH out there. It starts off in elementary school, but a majority of the manga is set in college. The guy is a total womanizer--he sleeps with almost 100 women XD But, the girl is really pretty different from your typical shoujo heroine, in my opinion. (And don't judge by what you see in the first volume set in elementary school, she actually ends up being not as... tough, I suppose? She actually becomes much more innocent as the series goes on XD)

That manga made me headdesk. Plus she was a bit of a 'tsundere' near the beginning... ">_>

Maybe Suki♥Doki ?? I can't remember how the female was like since I read it 2 years ago. :/

Oyayubi kara Romance I just recently read this, it mostly fits your criteria and was good.
The heroine is pretty much a massage-otaku and is clueless about everything else. The guy is "the most popular boy at school", his additude comes off as if hes tired of being popular(girls flock to him and my guess is over time hes become exhausted by it).

Lol, I'm back with some one-shots XD

Ipaasha may also be more along the lines of what you're looking for
Renri no Eda may be what you're looking for but it's been ages since I read it, so I don't remember anything, but the summary sounds promising XD
Towa ni Nemure might be okay too, though the girl is pretty tsundere

I was going to suggest Renri no Eda, but I don't think the heroine is the type you're looking for. She's pretty spirited.

Hmm... oh well. I didn't remember that manga at all so I was just kinda guessing XD

Just so I'm not off-topic Mucha Kucha Daisuki looks pretty good (by the same mangaka as Towa ni Nemure). I haven't read it, but I glanced at a few pages in the first chapter, which looked promising.

Also Gekka no Kimi by the same mangaka, but has a relationship with a playboy in love with an innocent girl, though it's more of the one from the past life than the current one, unfortunately. But the past-life relationship is pretty much exactly what you're looking for.

Has anyone suggested Red River and From Far Away? Yuri and Noriko are nice girls, and Kail's quite the playboy initially. Izark is....not, but I find Noriko adorable. biggrin And if you like 'em like that, try more [m]Hikawa Kyoko[/m]. Her characters aren't all identical, but she does have a definite style.

Hana to Akuma! THE perfect example of what you're looking for, even though you've probably read it already. The male lead has no-strings-attached sex with beautiful women while the female lead is too young for him to even consider romantically, even though she's already sort of in love with him (doesn't know it yet). She's so sweet and pure, though, that eventually he stops seeing others and focuses only on her...

Earl and Fairy is great, too... The male lead is beautiful, popular and used to "selling himself" or having sex in exchange for, uh, benefits. Of various kinds. The female lead is a sweet li'l thing that he eventually falls in love with. She's spunky-sweet, but not spunky when she should be - she has astonishing Florence Nightingale moments that make me seriously worry for her safety, because she's being too nice helping out this guy who is probably a murderer and a villain, but she helps him anyway... Awesome manga, read it even if you think she's too spunky - you can't not love it.

Kamisama Hajimemashita, I think? The male lead's an immortal of great beauty and has therefore slept with many, um, people and people-like creatures (!) - however, the female lead's sweetness wins him over. She might appear to be spunky sometimes, but she's basically the sweet sort. I think. Well, in my opinion she is, but you can read and find out if she suits you!

Mademoiselle Butterfly, recommended to me on B-U by a good soul, also kind of fits. The lead isn't a "playboy" in the traditional sense but is more experienced (much older) and as part of his job, regularly has undressed women sprawled before him (he's a tattoo artist). Again, the girl's sheer sweetness focuses his attention solely on her.

Rouge et Noir - I really don't like this manga, because of it's bizarrely unrealistic abusive romance, but it DOES have a playboy who falls for a sweet (but in my opinion, just plain dweeby) woman. Contains rape. Did I mention I don't like this manga?

Hope at least one or two of these will qualify. Let me know. smile

Edit: Sorry, disregard Rouge et Noir because it contains smut. Moreover BAD smut. Rape-smut, yuck.

The Embalmer - The only one I can think of that fits your request. However, it's jousei, and not shoujo. It is not focused on the romance, either. The main relationship would fit, though.

Kare First Love - Playboy part is questionable, but he is experienced enough with the females. As to the heroine, she's as pure as they come...

Moe Kare!! perfectly fits your requirements. hikaru is a sweet, nice, idealistic girl who falls in love with the perfect 'prince'. but his half-brother, a sleazy guy who loves to sleep around falls hard for hikaru. it's not the usual attraction/lust that we usually mistake as love but it's a genuine kind. "true love" i call it since it involves selflessness on his part. he was willing to give her up to his brother, the guy he hates the most in the world, for her happiness. he didn't want to have sex with her until he knew he was mature enough to take care of her because, and i quote "...i don't want to have a playful attitude when i'm dating you." isn't that a real winner? yeah i love this manga SO much. but since it's very popular i assume that you've read it already. smile wink grin
