Today at the doctor's when my boys & I were getting flu shots, I misread "patient/guardian" as "parent/guardian" and thought I'd messed up by filling in my own name at the top. no

Misreading words.... I'm sure I do it more often but I only really notice it when I read out loud (trying to study with friends --- doesn't work well). Example: Hectic I read as Heretic.

I also get tongue tied because I don't annunciate well and don't speak much --- Alleviate as Elevate

If something sounds or is written like something pervy,
I will not be able to read it right.

Like "Client Excited"? bigrazz

Ha, I just remembered an example. It was couple of years ago, I was reading in class, and I read "organism" out loud as "orgasm." But everyone was pretty young, so I don't think they maybe noticed it haha.

I was still mortified. none

About 10 or 11. Give or take, for some reason I am thinking it was around 6th grade, maybe 5th. I pretty much can't remember anything important about school before 11th grade. laugh

I misread words on a regular basis... laugh
Not enough to cause any discomfort though.

One time a misread a sign that said Postman Plus as Postmortem Plus, so i wrote a story about the Postmortem Plus! I misread things all the time though, that one just stands out in my head.

I misread things too much ...
Lately it's been in the forums here.

"Have You Ever Tried Going Without Manga?" I misread this (multiple times ..) as Have you ever tried going out with manga.

"School Uniforms!" I misread as School unicorns. I was actually let down after I found out I misread the title.

I know there's more I just can't remember right now.

Most of the time when I misread things I look back and go HUH? Wait what did that say?
I;m starting to wonder if my mind is just ... odd or just trying to entertain me with all these misreadings.

So keep in mind I'm filled with typos
