It´s not all doom and gloom / arthouse symbolism with me as i also hold lighter fare as the 1st OPs of Naruto or Shippuden in high regard but a top 10 would look equally "artsy" i guess. A lot of metal would also grace an extended list due to Death Note, Parasyte or Rage of Bahamut. Even the OP of Macross 7 would make the cut which is one of the few shows that has music as it´s only redeeming feature.
